In the U.S there are black clubs, hispanic, Irish, Italian etc., it's not that big of a deal. I have to add that the U.S is much more advanced at diversity than most places.

Certainly Canada, Australia and New Zealand are far more socially advanced than the USA. Most of Europe too. The few racist Euros here that hate Muslims are a minority. Nothing whatsoever 'advanced' about the USA but weapons technology and torture techniques.

I'm just glad this forum returnd to its middle-of-da-road mediocrity and free-thuoght and expression is allowed...just as long as it keeps within the lines.

Actually, I live in a neighbourhood that is populated by:

WASPS, Lesbians, Reform Jews, Irish Catholics, and Puerto Rican Catholics.

My landlord is an Irish Catholic married to a Puerto Rican Catholic.

My second-floor neighbour are a Jewish couple with two kids.

The boroughs of New York are hardly segregated, however, we do tend to have ethnic neighbourhoods. And even in this neighbourhood, we tend to stay in different areas of it.

Oh, and the Italian mob has a hang out about three blocks from my house. And one of the largest Moslem neighbourhoods in all of New York is under a mile from where i live.

 

John, silly, not just the "mid-north-western" hemisphere, there are at least , I don't know, 3 other hemispheres to count oo. ( I think anyways) .
