I wish to find out does isopropanol fully vaporize or does it leave a residue behind? At what temperature does it vaporize?
I worked with 98% pure isopropanol in printing. It was in canada in a place the door got left open a lot and it would still evaporate and leave nothing(in fact some times take whatever ink was in it - as was it's purpose).
what will happen if i mix isopropanol with ammonia what will happen? If I heat this mixture until all liquids is vaporized will any residue be left? I have been informed that isopropanol will vaporize 100% leaving no residue is this true? If residue is left, is it from the ammonia or isopropanol?
isopropanol drank!!!!!! answers please If someone drinks 2 ml of isopropanol by mistake what would the effects be?
Isopropanol - is here anyway it can be neutralized, made safe, non-poisionous. Would heating it up to 120 degrees neutralize it. This surely would vaporize the isopropanol and leave the impurities, if this is the case would the impurities be poisionous? Any other ideas are welcome
it ignites at 399 C degrees. 120 C will not neutralize it. anyways you'll get Carbon monoxide released...so thats not good.
Gee, sean, what is it with you and isopropanol??? Did you just discover it? I've already answered your other questions about it and here we go again. There's TONS of info about it on the Internet - just use Google.
sean obviosly injested isopropanol and needs help. call this number (1-800-222-1222) it is a National Poison Control Center they will direct you from there * for now drink lots of water and pee freq.
to previous reply I'm not a science minded and am not knowledgeable in this area This is the reason for these questions. Thanks anyway!
You burst into flames. if you heat enough of it. seriously though, the two mixed together makes a powerful solvent.
