In a way it's free but in another it's not.

If you just stumbled upon it in nature it's free, but if you farmed it than it took the physical energy of plowing the ground and planting the seeds. And then checking up on the health of the plants is critical. Making sure it is getting enough water and nutrients. And then the time lapse from seed planting to dinner on the table is a long time.

Steorn isn't dead, and they're still saying that Orbo isn't dead either.

It looks like Steorn is (sensibly) attempting to get some return on its research investment by marketing some of the research tools and side technologies it developed on the way. Perhaps not so sensibly, they are still promising to launch Orbo in the not-too-distant-future.

The Steorn website has also been updated, with a ten-minute video of some engineers who claim that they've scrutinized tests that indicate an overunity machine. There is a also bit more info about how Orbo is supposed to work:

funny thing was I couldn't remember the name of the web site nor device until you posted Pete, thanks...was awhile ago....

Personally I tend to think that technically from a common perspective it appears to be over unity but in reality it isn't. It may be drawing energy from all mass universally via "zero point" so it can't be an over unity device.
