    Siddhartha had a son.

Does history know what happened to him?
    Is the bloodline still around?
Does anyone lay claim to it?

Rahula became spiritual practitioner and died before his father died.

    Thanks.
Does history make any mention of him and his life?
    Did he have any children?
    Is the bloodline still around?

He's mentioned in the pali canons, but I don't think he had any children, I don't think he had any sex, things like sex, dancing, music, luxury, money, etc...were forbidden by Gautama Buddha for all monks...

Well Gautama Buddha still had lots of cousins and relatives, so his blood still exists somewhere...

IIRC, all the Buddhists were methodically eliminated when the Brahmans came to power (1500 years after Buddhism became the dominant religion in India). Most of them were massacred but historical details are not available. Buddhism essentially disappeared from India at that time. I would assume that if the relatives of Buddha followed his path, and if there were still any after 1500 years, they would have been lost then. However, we don't really know much about that.
