I do feel that the original question has steered the answers given and not enough thought has been given to what really would happen. The answer is that they will both win. After a quick exploration of each others powers both come to the realization that they feel an animal urge to thrust themselves into the arms of the other person. The trembling ears of Yoda tell Gandalf enough, and soon they are intimately involved with each other, exploring powers they never explored before, leaving each other in a breathtaking orgasm of magical strength. In a way they also both loose because both realize immediately that their relationship cannot continue because they each have a duty to society. And however much it pains them to say goodbye and never taste each others lips again they do so.
