Would knowing how the brain works lead to madness?

Well, explain to me how the infinite amount of knowledge of an omnipotent being could fit in the finite space of the human brain?

The "space" of a human brain has nothing to do with it's ability to retain knowledge.

God probably doesn't have a brain in the least bit comparable to a human brain. God obviously has thought processes which we can attribute to a "brain". But, certainly not a brain in the traditional sense.

The "space" of a human brain limits the quantity of knowledge it can handle. There are only a certain number of neurons that can fit within a human skull.

I think that we are on the level of knowledge that we can handle (don't think massivly, but individually). Too little knowledge isn't that fun, too much isn't that fun either, but I don't think things would seem meaningless, it's only what many scientists describes it as (and/or believe), and it depends on what you do with the knowledge, what you can gather from it.

Knowledge should allways be presented in a way that makes you wonder, or that gives you something, not in the dull way teachers often present it (even if they can have their moments, I give you that).

I hope you get what I mean.

About the brain; I don't think anyone knows exactly how it functions, but I think that it can be known, but that we probably shouldn't know, because of the risk of altering something that is best kept as it is.

But, neuropsychology hasn't advanced to the point where you could know definitively about the origin of your thoughts and feelings. So, maybe future neuropsychologists will go nuts.

There is a difference between thinking about how your minds works, and actually knowing how your mind works. I doubt you are a neuropsychologist, and even then, science hasn't advanced to the point of actually knowing how the mind works. However, with MRIs now showing the intricacy of thought patterns, we may be getting close to actually knowing how the mind works.

Give me a break! You don't know how the mind works. Sure, you can give names to structures in the brain, but that doesn't mean you know how it works. Explain consciousness then, smarty.
