My Site Overview

The site itself is very encouragable. In this sense, I mean that if one says one thing, many can follow without any true integrity: We has a saying in Scotland forpeople who follow the encoragable; they are like sheep.

Have noticed, as I am sure as everyone has, there has been a lot of bigoted behaviour, and even personal remarks that are disproportional to a site that is credited as being an ‘’Intelligent Community,’’/ and yet, it is on frequent occasions…. Not.

Now, I am not going to name any names, but I’ve met a lot of good people here, and learned a lot from them, but there is one thing I will not tolerate is dogmatism, inherent in the New World of Science. Because such over-speculative affirmations usually have us either in awe or pure discontent, we tend to throw it into area’s disproportional to:

1/ the thought involved
2/ the time involved in making such work
And 3/ general courtesy

And instead what usually happens… it is exiled as though it means nothing, This can be damaging sometimes, because from a psychological analysis, the actions of such an event make the individual feel rather inadequate at times.

I have also noticed that there is a lot of hate against homosexuality. Yes… this is human nature, but it doesn’t excuse the fact that it is the lowest kind of behavior a human can express. It shows that these people are nothing but nastiness personified. And yet, here is the irony. Instead of the mod’s making a correct solution, they invoke site laws saying that they can (that is the bigots I am referring to), do this because they have some ‘’flawed right,’’ as though it is accepted in every day like. But this isn’t true… a homosexual can go through life without coming across such homophobic people…. It’s just very unfortunate that some of us have to.

My point being, where is the empathy>? 0 The Site’s flawed. Totally.

Actually i speak for all of those who are gay here. Surely you didn't think i was being selfish?

I speak for everyone who are in the same positions - because we both know there hasn't only been a lot of complaints on the homophobia, but also the unjustificational removal of threads.

Don't be so daft Avatar. You know what I speak of. I wll hold you in contempt of this site, if you ignore evidece that cannot be refuted.

The sites become boring and I am not really interested in hearing more about the people who post, they yack about their lives but I am already knowing them abit from prior posts. I think even that the thread Do Photons Have Mass may already have been done by me earlier, no doubt someone did it even before any of us :S I seen alot of repeat threads where they basically go yapping about weather or stuff in the end.

 

Sure, there's always complains. It's natural with such a big user base. Can't please everyone.

My take Reiku is that many people simply dont like you because you lie, misrepresent science, and continuously complain about how you are victimized. As a result your image is basically that of a pain-in-the-ass.

If you want to change that then its going to take alot of effort on your part... probably ten times the effort a new user would have to put in to establishing a positive image.

If you don't want to change your image then your present path will lead to a separation between you and this site.

Well, it is happening. Ben does target my work. Not only that, but many other people here have been oppressed by similar behaviour... so your point holds to ziltch.

The intention was to call it like it is.

I would be happy to dig up instances, but before I do... do you understand what a lie is and do you really think you have not lied quite a few times?

Speculation and theories are not misrepresentations of science. Calling a speculation truth and inventing a theory based on incorrect / absent assertions is a misrepresentation of science.

Ben is taking the time to critically review your assertions. Your oppression complex comes because the majority of your assertions are not science and you don't like that Ben can recognize that.

It's not about changing who you are... its about changing your image (i.e. how you are seen / judged by others).

If you really didn't care then this thread and the multitude of similar ones would not exist.
