Meh, I don't know. It definitely seems Asians like the Caucasian form factor. Why else are Asians flocking in lines to get their eyes fixed to look like Caucasian eyes? I imagine that must infuriate peta.

Hmm it's my understanding that most people like the looks of the opposite sex of their own 'race' best.

I've always been attracted to body size and good dental hygiene.

While my friends said "nice ass", I said "Wow! Look how big he is"

That's true instinctively and naturally. What francois doesn't realize is specific cultural influences at a certain time. In the past, many caucasians considered the asian form very attractive in another time and place and wanted some of their characteristics. Today, it's a western dominated world with western looks dominating in the media and propagated as the height of beauty. It influences on a macro scale but it doesn't go as as intrinsically as it appears. There may be some novelty but most people like to acquire things to enhance their own beauty or redefine it, not become exactly like someone else. Fads are normal.

When these stars were asked what their ideal was, it was always basic asian features still. I understand that considering symmetry is always considered beautiful but still in context of your own identity.

For instance, yunho has the classic asian eyes but it makes him beautiful. it depends on the package. Some people are easily influenced, but deeper racial and cultural beauty stands the test of time and endures no matter what.

But if someone is not attracted to the person you are, it doesn't make them racist. I think a person who only likes their 'own kind' is showing more racism.

i thought u were more intelligent than me? or are you just older?

what does it matter when you STILL prefer your own kind MORE than another race?

you're not clued in to your own psyche as much as you think. How many asian men and how many caucasian men have you posted?

It still doesn't matter as you've clearly shown that you prefer your OWN kind more. That's normal even though there are exceptions.

It doesn't matter if you posted Kaneshiro because your ideal is based on western beauty standards and that is the crux of your judgement. Larger size and western ideals of masculinity.

You THINK you are appreciating another race but instead you are just singling out those who fit closer to your ideals.

I don't prefer 'my own kind'. Go back and review the men I have picked. #1 on my list is Antonio Banderas. I have also picked several black and Asian men. Go ahead, list the white men I have listed. My Asian men list is 5x longer than your any other man list.

Repeat. They are all based on current western ideals of conventional western masculinity. You like what you like but don't pretend you actually value another culture.

Their are black men who like white women with big asses, does that mean they value caucasians necessarily?

    just making a point.

pretend I value another culture? In case you haven't noticed this thread is about judging men on looks only. Its a shallow thread. Its about looks, not about culture.

And I'm still waiting for you to list all the white men I've posted in this thread. The only one that comes to my mind is Sam Elliot.

my point exactly and your ideals are still western. why is that so hard to admit? there is nothing wrong with it. just like there is nothing wrong with me preferring asian dominated looks. i prefer the black silky hair, the skin, the eyes, the slimmer body build etc.

does that make you racist or is that word reserved for people who don't like boyish feminine looking men?

you keep thinking you have no prejudices and i'm pointing out that everyone has them.

you didn't call any of the other men boyish and feminine but mine when objectively a lot of them could be interpreted that way.

    PROVE IT! Which ones?
If you call me racist, you have to come up with more proof than "You didn't like my guys"
If I had posted only white guys (like you posting only asians) then I would agree with you. But I find many many men attractive.
    SO WHO'S RACIST?

It's already been proven. One needs to only look back on the thread except james r deleted some of them.

Also, it's not me who has the problem. I post what i like. Even invert can see that just on the last couple of pages now. Then you ask me to name a nonasian. That's not my problem.

If you like someone, it's your responsiblity to post them, no one else.

You don't understand how prejudice works and how we form our individual tastes.

If a white guy looks at another female of another race and says 'she's got big eyes like me, she's beautiful..'

    or

I've even heard an african-american female say about an unusually buff and rugged looking asian guy, 'damn, he's fine'.

Simpletons would interpret this as nondicriminatory but it's still in play.

How could either one of those people or examples not be discriminatory or have their own prejudices? of course they do, we all do.

How could one not be prejudiced against asians for example when the crux of asian beauty is the smaller body build and what would be interpreted by westerners as more effeminate? so they reject it and favor what is closer in line with their ideals.

It's still preference. Preference is inherently prejudicial. That's okay when it comes to what we like. It's not okay to apply a double standard to other people.
