Take a look at that last paragraph one more time: "Since March 25, US air and ground raids on civilians in Baghdad's Sadr City have left thousands of Iraqis, most of them women and children, dead and wounded." These kinds of aerial bombardments absolutely guarantee two things: 1. Massive civilian casualties. 2. Radicalizing those left standing to acts of reprisals within the resistance . Its pointless for Iran to help America , as its pointless for us in Australia to keep supporting Americas homicidal illegal occupation . Peace is not possible with such an insane psychopathic leadership as in America which not only kills indiscriminately but also leads to the deaths of thousands of its own servicemen .
Consider the source. Obvious Iranian propaganda. Believing this crap is almost as bad as believing the Bush administration.
9/11...Saudi citizens attack the USA killing thousands...the USA attacks and occupies Iraq Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!...then sells the Saudis 23 billion in weapons... :bugeye:
Consider this: http://www.motherjones.com/mojoblog/archives/2007/09/5612_us_air_raids_in.html If this was happening to Americans, would they consider it no big deal? Would they cooperate with the ones who were doing it?
But, "most of them women and children"? Do you have statistics for that? Logically, the deaths would be distributed evenly.
I believe one one of the studies estimated 46% of the deaths were children under 15, but no one is really keeping tabs. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A7967-2004Oct28.html Regardless, the US will not be considered as an arbiter of peace by any of them. Not surprising, of course, were it the other way around, Americans would not be trusting Iraqis either.
Cluster bombs in civilian areas tend to kill a lot of children, compared with other weapons, and a lot of Iraqis are children.
But Saddam Hussian only tortured and murdered thousands of innocent women and children but as yet you say nothing about that fact, why not?
And the US was standing shoulder to shoulder then as well http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/NSAEBB/NSAEBB82/
I guess its because that was pretty common knowledge - and the fact that we are simply killing iraqi civilians in Saddam's place, and with far greater efficiency makes something of a mockery of "Operation Iraqi Freedom" Freedom from what? Their mortal coils?
He's dead. His enemies hanged him. Is that the fate you recommend for all killers of thousands of Iraqi women and children ?
Are you sure about that ? Afterall the Iranians have been telling the truth about their nuclear programme , and were telling the truth about the British sailors captured . I suppose because Fox News and CNN told you that Iranians were liars was enough for you . No of course not whilst these men and women serve in Iraq murdering defenceless civilians they are heroes and heroines . However when they return to civilian life in America their fate is homelessness , unemployment , psychiatric disorders and handicap injuries and they will be despised then as welfare bums .
No US-branded mandate to sort out the Mideast is viable any more. More than ever before, US affiliation is the Kiss of Death there.
