I feel indifferent to people I neither love nor hate. Not only that but I don't only hate people I once loved before, so to me hate is more than just not loving someone, but being unable to love someone, of course it's not a nice feeling but I can't change it. From personal experience I don't really see a reason to believe you're statement. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
I feel indifferent to people I neither love nor hate. Not only that but I don't only hate people I once loved before, so to me hate is more than just not loving someone, after reading that i cant help but feel that you somehow missed my point. even though i believe that is true for me personally nevertheless it does seem hard for me to believe that all the hate in the world really stems from an underlying love so you may have a point after all.
Why would hate be love frustrated? Opinion: When a person gives their love and it is abused because of the conditions they place on their loving the person feels offended sometimes very seriously and this is the geneisis of hatred. For love that has been abused. If you love with out condition you can never know hatred except in others. Of course most people are conditioned from birth to love with condition or criteria. So of course most persons hold hatred in their hearts simply because conditions can never be met entirely. Jealousy, envy, greed...and low self esteem etc manifested. So for some, over the course of years of frustration this generates into covert hatred and then onto fully blown overt hatred...until they either learn to drop the conditions or get into real trouble...
It's possible, It's probably unwise for me to visit the forums when I haven't slept. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! I'm going by my own experiences in which love and hate are at opposite ends, however not feeling one doesn't necessarily mean feeling the other, you can also alternatively feel indifferent which to me is feeling neither. Obviously there are likes and dislikes too, which are less extreme emotions of love and hate. I should really have quoted the second part of your original statement too. Presuming you mean wouldn't care then I completely agree with this. I accept other people will have different experiences or opinions of this. I think the emotions are intimately linked and this is a complex subject.
i hate nobody because nothing is nobody's fault. but i only love 1 person. or maybe i only love happiness, because the only reason i love someone or something is because they make me happy..
Well, it's hard to believe because you have to look at each person individually, there's not a "cloud of hate" over the world, but only hate within a person, a individual. It's of course hard to speculate what each person is feeling, but I'm sure everyone has their reasons.
Doesn't this raise the question, if someone does something completely out of their norm (i.e. murder, rape, ect.) and never goes back to how they were, are they the same person? If not then if you don't love this new one you still have unconditional love for their older self. Also, if someone has multiple-personality disorder, is it possible to have unconditional love for one of their personalities but not the others?
It is an interesting variation you are mentioning however unconditional love as an ideal would encompass everything in some form. All personalities, all behaviours, past present and future.. other wise the love is conditional upon....?
Oh... unconditional love is a love for EVERYTHING in every form? or can I have unconditional love for bob but not marie? Is unconditional love universal in other words?
love is a lot like chess. In chess, no matter what happens, you have to protect the king, because that is the point of the game. In love, this is the heart
