I want to post pages and pages of inane chit chat because...

I like to use internet forums to pose as a pseudo intellectual and make myself feel more important than I actually am in "real life".

I have a penchant for the surreal and the internet allows me to express my idiosyncracies in a way I would otherwise have to repress due to social constraints.

I sometimes feel like when I type it releases all this pent up stuff, I'd swap to cutting but this leaves less scars.

Sometimes, it excites me when I see a thread I'm involved in reaching double figures. It makes me feel popular.

I like to have something to talk about when I go out with my friends. I tell them about this funny thread and that crazy idea and I talk about all the mad people here. They're quite jealous that I have such intelligent friends who know about science and who use the internet.

I don't sleep, not since Nam. It helps me block out the flashbacks and post traumatic stress.

I go into other forums and copy and paste entire posts from really clever people and plagiarise.

There's many more reasons for my posting pages and pages of inane drivel but I'll leave it here for now. After all, we have pages and pages to fill.
