heres couple of good less known movies Lion-maru a fantasy based on manga comics http://www.mysoju.com/lion-maru-g/ and one very funny story about a gangster who wants to become comedian http://www.mysoju.com/tiger-dragon/special/part-1/
This movie was pretty good. I had never heard of it, so I don't think it was all that mainstream. Felon 2008 ( Val Kilmer) A family man convicted of killing an intruder must cope with life afterward in the violent penal system. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1117385/
Is that the one by David Cronenburg? That was on freaky movie! I've never seen anything like it before or since. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crash_(1996_film)
The more recent version, It's unknown to me, because I didn't hear about it at all. until a year later.
Oh yeah, the newer one (which won an Oscar for best picture) is completely different. Same title, different story.
LOL! I have this one at home. I remember seeing it originally at the midnight movies. how about these? Hell Comes To Frog Town Hellzapoppin William S. Burroughs - A History of Witchcraft Zardoz Santa Sangre Mansions of Madness Rubin and Ed Cold Turkey Evil Roy Slade Lair of The White Worm
I went on my very first date with a man to this movie. The bastard gave me crabs. So... I'll never forget the event. Best unknown movie: MSTK: The Movie ~String
Two of the scariest movies I ever saw were: Matango - Attack of the Mushroom People and Bermuda Depths (about a damn giant ocean turtle. Its why to this day I hate the ocean)
Attack of the Mushroom People? It sounds like Mario is having a nightmare Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Matango was the first monster movie I saw where the monster (the bad guy) won. That just wasn't supposed to happen.
Orleander Are you being serious here? AOTMP is one of the campiest and goofiest scary movies I have ever seen. It's on par with Night of The Lepus. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069005/ Now, I admit that if you were just the right age when you saw this flick it would seem scary. I remember seeing the old Vincent Price movie The Tingler and thought it was scary when I was 8 or 9 years old. I remember right around the time when Mantango was being shown on the early UHF channels (like every Saturday afternoon), another Japanese fine arts film that was making the rounds was Majin: The Monster Of Terror.
