Physicists. Is he right about that?

Also, I don't want something going very fast. I want something with levers and dials.

Well, wouldn't there have been a documented case before of somebody traveling from the future if it could ever happen?

Don't ask the physicists. They are the goons who keep drawing up time travel devices on paper. Usually with bubbles that expand and contract really quickly. These are the guys that made up wormholes, dark matter, dark energy and string theory. They grew up on Sci-Fi and don't know how to let go.

I feel like I have seen time travel on the cover of at least a dozen Scientific Americans in my lifetime. All that coverage for something that is scientifically impossible!

Are physicists really in charge of what goes on the cover of Scientific American? Wow, that's interesting.

"guys that made up wormholes, dark matter, dark energy and string theory"
And you have better explanations for the observed phenomena they attempt to explain? No?

The same thing as what makes an amoeba alive. But I like your quotes there.

i guess it could be called a fignewton of the imagination.

like black holes, dark matter and magical higgy bosonies

the last chapter would be best suited for mankind, simply to comprehend LIFE!

the rest will come after........... but to think building a 15bil spinner is going to answer the questions, provide the evidence and change the world, is just foolish.

The holy grail is the 'name' to know.

Yes. General relativity is incomplete. But, hell, even Einstein knew that.

No. People from the future know how to avoid that.

By "know how to avoid it", do you mean "not know how to travel back in time and interact with with the past universe'?

    Of course not.
Just add a time recalibration lever to the time machine.
    Problem solved.

If they had, someone would be using your credit card right now to purchase more porn.

Encryption as we know it today will die the moment Prime Number Distribution is sorted out.
