    1) please watch the video, before you flame the thread.
    2) if you are going to flame the thread (i would expect nothing less of you) at least try to show some attempt to include some points contained in the video.

Tarpley earned a BA at Princeton University in 1966 in English and Italian, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Fulbright Scholar at University of Turin, Italy. pick a point that you feel is bullshit, and offer some kind of valid, objective refutation.

Look at what you posted about him. how would he have any information unless it is entirely made up.

Interesting...but he presents no evidence at all for these theories.

Its not about evidence, its about analysing what is going on, what has been going on and formulating theories, connecting the dots. America cannot allow Russia or China to dominate on the World stage, everyone knows this though people don't speak about it, everything happening around us is leading to a confrontation between these powers. Its being played out in Europe, Africa and Asia.

well if we were to bring the importance of evidence into the debate, then that's a whole seperate can of worms, then we would have to talk about 9/11, bin laden, iraq, afghanistan, etc etc .

what he says is not entirely without validity, that's the point. what he says about brz's policies/agenda, brz himself has said (chk my other thread about him)

the paradox however is this, the enemy of israel, (brz) may not neceesarily be the longterm ally of the middle east that he proports to be.

we have simply moved from an overtly neo con front backed by right wing power brokers with an imperialistic/militaristic agenda to a liberal fronted facade, backed by right wing powerbrokers, who are more powerful than the neo cons and more imperialistic/military biassed than the first lot.

"Obama is a puppet of the tri-lateral commission"

Riiiiiight. This guy is a moron. He was involved with that other moron, Lyndon LaRouche. Not worth the electrons it took to watch this trash.

The right wing is doing everything in their power to paint Obama as some kind of extremist or radical, when he happens to be the most rational and intelligent president we have had in a long time. Come back when there is a scrap of material to support the premise.

    That's because Party > Country.

Democrats have been doing the same bullshit for 8 years. And Republicans did it for 8 years before that. The party out of party hopes and prays for bad shit to happen to their country so they can win more votes. It disgusts me.

I would love for it to end right now, but even if the Republicans gave Obama the benefit of the doubt, there is no guarantee that Democrats would help the next Republican president do all he can to help the country.

It sucks that this is the way things are. Probably can't be avoided with a two-party system. And I can't think of a healthier alternative.

That's nonsense, outlandish. Swivel, while that is true, the left had real legitimate complaints about Bush and the Neo-cons. Obama hasn't really done anything to justify the accusation of "manchurian candidate".

Of course they had legitimate complaints. You just couldn't hear them over the illegitimate ones!

I think the reason Bush won reelection was because of how unfairly harsh the Left was to him for the first 4 years. I think a silent majority went to the polls to stick up for a man that was being kicked around by a bunch of rude asshats that cloaked Bush's real failings behind a thick wall of nonsensical rubbish.

By claiming that Bush was going to war to "avenge his daddy", the radical Leftists provided a very easy complaint to wave away in our lead-up to the war. Real complaints could not be heard because of conspiratorial bullshit about Bush Sr., Oil, 9/11 conspiracies, hurt butts leftover from the '00 recount, etc...

Both parties need to get their crazies under control. Republicans need to be telling the evangelicals to fuck off and stop destroying the party. Democrats need to get the eco-cultists and human-haters to release the grip on their 'nads. Because when we get to characterize each party according to its extremists, we ruin our chance for honest discourse.

Republicans made the same mistake with Clinton. They went after him on Monica instead of a half-dozen other, more severe lapses. They made it easy to defend the guy instead of easier to honestly criticize him. Same thing Republicans do when they make fun of Obama's middle name. Such transparent insults make you love a guy more because of how hateful the attacker is being.

It puts me in the very unpleasant position of sticking up for a President (Bush) that I think ranks in the bottom 10 all-time.
