Go to your User CP > Networking > Pictures & Albums > Add Album > Give name & Set privacy Then you can upload pictures from you PC and share them with others via Social Groups.
isn't it under the community tag? the scroll down menu includes a "pictures and albums" tag, not sure if that's what you meant....although I can't access it. *cough cough*
The 'Pictures & Albums' option doesn't show up for me. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
^ oh haha..and i thought it was just me because my account is rather new and i don't have that many posts...so i thought that my access was limited. same here, enmos..that feature doesn't even show up in the CP
I think currently the Album is restricted to Administrators, there are a number of potential reason that I can only guess. For instance it might of been kept from the public until it was configured or there might of been reservations about allowing images to be uploaded. If it does get the go ahead in the future though there should be a disclaimer/Legal piece asking people to not upload copyrighted material, Porn or Snuff image etc and that images will be under moderation.
This is made difficult by the Privacy Settings that an individual sets. If they want to hide their Contact Information there is an option to do so, although Moderators and Administrators can still contact them, as well as "Create New Message" means you can just writer their username into the recipient box. (Although if they've turned off PM's in settings it might give you a "You do not have 20 posts to use private mail" message or something similar)
I told sciforums about 9 times that it reminds me nothing of any other forum. edit: Finally we understand!
I couldn't see the picture when I was guest. Only as admin. Perhaps you, as a picture poster was able to see it unapproved as well. Please post another one, so we can get confirmation from other members.
Plazma, are the allowed dimensions and file size manually set ? If so, can I suggest lowering the dimensions (I'm guessing that asking for larger file size would be futile Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!) ? I find it hard to come up with a picture that's less than 100 kB but still 600 px wide/high. I resized all my pictures to a width of 600 but the file size is still around 200kB..
