People are the most ill-equipped animals(for wilderness survival)

    At least on land, probably 99% of animals are arthropods, the most successful clade. (Insects, arachnids, myriapods and crustaceans.) You're up against some pretty tough competition there.

    Typically speaking, 99% of animals would not survive in that kind of environment probably because they have nothing to eat. Herbivores wont live there cause there are no edible plants, no herbivores, no carnivores, no scavengers. That is the only way 99% of animals could not live there.

    So if there are no plants to eat, no animals, no nothing, how are you going to survive?
