Do you intend to remain in the U.S? If not where would you go to live?

What is one of your favorite novels?

    What is your favorite film?

I intend to stay. But if not the US, Ireland seems decent, especially the weather.

    Gravity

    Defiance; Hannibal Rising

Have you seen all the Hannibal Lector films? If so why do you prefer rising?

(I was disappointed with Rising and prefer the last Hannibal)

What do you hope to achieve in your life apart from marriage and having your own store? Are there any other goals (outside of transhumanism) you absolutely must do before you die?

    Are you afraid of death?

Some say life is suffering. How do you find it so far?

The character, the young Hannibal, developed very well. And the movie has decent acting and cinematography

I hope to have an effect on the world. Maybe write a book. Someday.

    Yes

    Decent

    Very diplomatic.

    What about death frightens you?

Also what are your outstanding characteristics good and bad? What is it that the people in your life have to say about your character?

I'm not afraid of dying, but of what might come after. I'm most afraid of the prospect that there is nothing.

I'm honest, I am hard working, I'm dependable, I'm very respectful toward others. I'm usually very lenient as well.

Bad: sometimes I take things too seriously and don't lighten up.

    :jawdrop:

Wow. You've shocked me again. The prospect of nothing? I thought when you had given up religion that you would have given up the prospect of an afterlife.

Do you hold any 'spiritual' beliefs?

What is so disturbing about nothingness? I mean its without sensation, emotion and awareness.

I don't believe in one, but that doesn't mean I don't want one.
    No

Yes, that is frightening; I mean, when I'm dead I won't care, because I can't care, but nothingness is still nothingness.

Interesting. I would have thought it a relief.

Do you think there could ever be a time in your life when you might return to your former religion or perhaps adhere to another?

What kind of an afterlife would you hope for?

Given the chance to leave earth never to return and explore space without any guarantee of what you might find there would you go? This means leaving family and all other sources of familiarity.

It depends on how efficiently I would be able to explore space. With FTL travel and a decent ship, yes! Though I'd be homesick most probably

Why do you prefer the U.S as a place to live?

You say that you are no longer for capitalism does this mean you are beginning to see some benefits to a socialist agenda?

The transhumanist utopia you envision will not be available to you in your life time, does this being the case does it alter how you look at the life you have to live? I am assuming that you wouldn't think much about the life you live under a transhumanist society as there would be no point on pondering life if its eternal.

Hmm well I just wanna live and be happy. Hopefully technology comes around faster than we expect.

Can't remember; go trick or treating? At my age...well I went with friends

    Norsefire,

What book/s have changed your life significantly?

What are the five things you would like people to remember about you at your funeral?

If you could pick any name to go by in your ordinary life, what would that name be?

If you drink, what is your poison of choice? If not, why not?

Could you tell us one thing about yourself that you are proud of, but none of us know about?

What's your favourite mode of transportation and why?

There's a fundamental difference. I agree with Norse. Now, it may well be that if I live long enough to be old, sick, and in constant pain I might see death as a relief. But even then, if I had the choice of death or having my health and youth restored I'd choose life in a second.

    Norse:

Who is your favorite philosopher? Have you read Ayn Rand? Nietzsche? Have you taken any college courses in philosophy?

    Favorite food?

    Top five favorite movies?

    Favorite Quote(s)?

Who do you think was the best US president? Best Syrian leader? Best leader of any country of all time?

    Do you smoke?

    Ever use illegal drugs?

    Last five books you've read?

Best looking female celebrity (post pic)?

If you could travel to any point in the past for a day, but only to observe (no killing Hitler), where and when would it be?

If you die and, much to your surprise but not regret, find yourself standing before God, what would you ask him?

If you could have lunch with any three historical figures (assume you have a Star Trek Univeral Translator); who would they be?

The president, vise-president, and Speaker of the house have all been killed. Since no one can remember who comes next in the succession; it is decided that you will serve out the rest of Obama's term. What would you do in your first hundred days?
