Hmmm I see them all now....I don't know what was going on.

It's amazing how light your hair is when you are a toddler and how it darkens so much over the yrs. My hair used to be so light and now it is dark brown.

Very Cute!! You look a lot like your dad now.

People dressed with real dignity and class back in the day.

I'm loath to correct you, but the way people dressed back then (on average) wasn't with as much dignity as you might think. "Events" like getting photographed, flying, boating, driving, etc. were expensive undertakings in those days. Being photographed by a professional, for example, cost significantly more than it does today. Today it's valueless because digital photography allows us to take thousands of pictures a day, delete the ones we dislike, and keep the rest. Back then you had one or two shots to get it right and spent what was a good chunk of an average day's wage to get it developed.

I'm not saying that the ass-crack showing fad of today isn't in stark contrast, but I don't think this image is a fair representation of how people actually portrayed themselves back then.

I dont know whats going on in Charleston Virginia at the moment, but fashion wise, the rest of North America has been in a devolutionary period since the mid sixties.

People feel weird even tucking in their shirt nowadays. Oh, I better not shave...I wont look slovenly enough to fit in.

Even the porn was decent...circa 1962.

It's too bad things didn't go as well as you would have thought from the way they looked on that day.

And Russians are so fucking pure.

My dad likely took that picture and probably would have beat my ass if I were really smoking.
