    Maybe you have trouble reading.
You said nothing about size, simply that "each temple was built aimed at a star, the great prymids point at oryans belt".
Every building has corners that point somewhere. All they did was decide which way round to build it.

    Wrong.
We have no exact idea how they were built.
We have ideas, but they may not be the right ones.

Was given at least one explanation in the thread.

It would appear that I care enough to read a thread from scratch in the time since I replied to you in post 15, whereas you claim that "because i dont have the time to go thru and look up facts so".
Who exactly is wasting who's time here?
You make an idiotic remark, I check posts and facts, you make more idiotic remarks but don't have time to look anything up for yourself.

Because, as previously stated, it's in the relevant thread.

Apart from the fact there will never ever be actual factual proof of how they were built (because no one is alive to say "that's how we did it" - i.e. we'll have best estimates only) you're getting the dates wrong - 500 to 950 A.D.

You're right, I don't know why we're having this conversation, you're clearly a troll who can't be bothered to do anything other than accept a woo woo site as proof and ignore anything and everything that goes against your first impression.

You haven't answered a single one of my questions, simply gone on to either reiterate the nonsense or start more.

So they were expecting a god, and when some humans showed up they welcomed them as gods? Sounds to me like they were superstitious idiots who were desperate to make events fit into the framework of their "prophecies," even if doing so involved something as stupid as assuming that foreign humans were gods.
HAHAHAHA. Yeah, that's why the Mayans described all the planets in the solar system. Oh, wait...

Funny how no one gives a shit about the Mayans except when they fuel some apocalyptic fantasy. The fact that people are so obsessed with this is a sign of something. I think we feel instinctively that modern human society is messed up, and we yearn for a fresh start.

How Pumapunku (and other structures at Tiwanaku) were built: http://www.sciforums.com/showthread.php?p=2416226&posted=1#post2416226

The "how" isn't the interesting or even a concerning question among archaeologists. Its the "why" that is most interesting. Ritual spaces and competition between these spaces seems to be inclusive of the most likely answers to questions related to how. Only significance-junkies and mystery-mongers who lack any education in archaeology and prehistoric cultures bother with the "how."

Yeah, I just love how he posted that as if it were supposed to be evidence that they were somehow knowledgeable and enlightened.

and yeah spider, i do think that deep down, as much as it pains some of us to admit, we all know there's something extremely fucked up with humanity, and we wish to rid ourselves of it and begin again. my mantra, you know...

i don't self loath, and i don't have multiple personalities. even blind deaf and dumb people can tell there's something wrong with humanity. so if you don't, you're just plain evil.

probably what makes you so damn hateful.

i don't know orleander, it just seems to me that there have been times when the populations have been whittled down to next to nothing and had to begin again. the story of noah and the flood is indicative of that. now i don't know if the world really flooded like that, or if it is just reflective of a past or future trend.

the bible doesn't record the end of human history, so it stands to reason that it doesn't record the beginning either. there are indications...the biggest one i think is what was going on in nod (where cain and abel went to get their wives). where the hell did those people come from?

then it talks about how the people of that time had become corrupt. that there were giants, where the sons of god had bred with the daughters of men. it says that god found noah's bloodline to be the purest, and that's why he was chosen to replenish the earth. adam was told to replenish the earth. "replenish" indicates that there was something there before that had gone away.

and the story of the church in revelation is kind of the same thing. that there will be firstfruits that will be brought from one age into the next. and that from age to age, there are abrupt evolutions. apparently we will be very different people in the next age.
