would you recomend cleaning toilets for a living? disposal of used needles? cleaning houses of the dead? repairing sewers ect ect

prositution seems like a reasonably GOOD and enjoyable job concidering some others i could think off. If someone wants to do it then what difference does it make that they are having sex vs everyother bloody slave wage job. Hell a pro at least isnt on his\her feet all day, makes ALOT more than min wage and probably doesnt have back injuries

    Of course .
If she was paid for an act and she was forced to perform another act, it is rape .
There are prostitutes who sell their bodies for money to buy the necessities of life due to poverty, while others do it because they are drug addicts and need the money to support their habits and the rest are damn lazy who want to sell their bodies to get monies instead of working like the rest of us .

I'd clean the toilets. I get to wear gloves, wear a face mask and use industrial disinfectant. Compare that with putting in your mouth something that has indiscriminately been in a lot of asses [and the Lord knows where else, you're not getting a discriminating bunch visiting prostitutes].

Nope, I'd clean the toilets TYVM.

Prostitutes are full of diseases . I feel sorry for those who do it to support themselves or their children to achieve the necessities of life . The rest are a bunch of lazy crap and good for nothing .

I don't judge the choices, but the choices say a lot about the people.

Someone who would rather sleep with strangers for money than clean toilets is going to show the same judgment in the rest of their choices.

e.g. I would not consider one of them a suitable homemaker for young children.

chese producers are at risk of listeria
office workers are in danger or CVD, MI, and obesity because they sit on there fat asses all day not to mention RSI

no matter the proffession there are health risks which go with it

why? what gives YOU that right?

where exactly would you draw the line anyway?
what about a lingerie model? they show there bodies off for money too

what about a prostitute who specilises in working with the physically and mentally disabled? they show a HELL of a lot more compassion than you seem to be capable of

This is a classic case of how the shit-for-brains government makes its own prophecies come true. Prostitutes do NOT have a remarkably higher incidence of disease in places where their profession is legal, like Holland or Nevada. They inspect their clients before they do anything, they're free to reject anyone who arouses their suspicions, and their management supports their judgment because they all have a reputation to maintain.

Prostitution is just like drugs: The worst problems are caused by making it illegal and shifting it to the black market, where the industry will be taken over by mobsters and hoodlums.

You're more likely to catch something from a girl you pick up in a bar than from a legal prostitute. You know the hooker gets a full medical exam once a month and is always sober when she decides who to have sex with.

too bad none of that is true. in a perfect world it would be true but these issues start off bad. there are also illegal hookers in nevada. the thing is you comment is not based on reality.

You can ask that question about a lot of jobs - would you be willing to do anything at all some psychotic boss might want done? If you have agreed to perform a job, and taken the money, can you refuse any demands whatsoever that come with your boss's whims or preferences?
So you are comparing someone cleaning toilets with control over the circumstances, to someone having sex with a parade of random strangers and no such control.

Invalid comparison. You just have a better pimp, running your toilet cleaning operation. If you had to clean toilets under the same conditions you propose for prostitution, and offered the possibility of a promotion to prostitution under the same conditions you propose for toilet cleaning, you might choose (and respect the choice) differently yourself.
A lot of factory owners seem to think so.

Not so long ago, "wage slavery" was a real concern of ordinary people - the idea of working for wages all your life was viewed as morally questionable, and to choose such a life if it could be avoided a perversion of a kind.

If she changes her mind the deal is off anyway, even if she keeps the money. It's just that she has stolen your money in that case.

there are lots of contracts like this, prositution isnt alone in the fact that in certain contracts forcing someone to perform a service (or even provide a good though im not sure on this one) is not alowed under law. Insted in these contracts clawses which related to breaking the contract provide for compensation. In fact i belive most employment contracts are like this, you cant be FORCED to work but you can be forced to compensate the other party if you fail to work (in employment contracts it tends to be just loss of income but for companies the penelties are more steep). The most ovious of these sorts of contracts would be a marriage contract, you cant be forced to stay married but you can be required by the courts to compensate the other party (under some juristictions anyway, in Australia currently there is a no blame policy but there is discussion about changing this)
