My daughter has made this 2x this week. Once raspberry, and watermelon-kiwi tonight. 1 packet kool-aid (any flavour you like) 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 tub cool-whip (she pronounces the h in honour of Stewie) mix together and dump in a graham cracker pie crust refrigerate for 1 hr , eat. AWESOME!! Anyone got an easier recipe?
You should teach your daughter how to make real pie from scratch. Poor people of the future will have nothing to eat.
Lemon Cloud Jello 3 cups boiling water 6 ounce package of lemon Jello 6 ounce can frozen lemonade 8 ounce container Cool Whip, thawed Stir boiling water into gelatin for at least 2 minutes. Add frozen lemonade. Refrigerate until mounds on a spoon. Fold in topping. Refrigerate until firm. I put fresh raspberries on top to make it pretty
To 12 oz. fresh spinach in a large bowl... add 1/8 tsp salt... cover wit plactic wrap an microwave 3 minutes.!!! Fantastic.!!!
I'm 100% against the spirit of this thread. Blending a bunch of ready packages full of flavoring and coloring and pouring in a pre-made crust does not equal making pie. What's the point of making something at home, if it's crap? You're better off buying a pie at the nearest bakery.
ya know, for a second I thought this was a really bad advertisement for good parenting..... Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!

Banana Nut Bread 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup shortening 2 eggs 2 cups flour 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 1 teaspoon baking soda 3 soft, ripe bananas, mashed Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs, flour, soda, bananas, and chopped nuts. Pour banana bread batter into 1 greased and floured loaf pan; bake at 325° for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. This banana nut bread recipe makes 1 loaf.
Her kids do not eat peanut butter and jelly. She thinks it's gross, so she will not have her kids try it. She would rather have them eat packages of salty high msg ramen noodles and pie made from chemicals and cool whip. Seriously. Nutrition and health be damned Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Remove clear plastic wrap from pkg. Place this side up in microwave oven. Press the button that says, popcorn
they'll have a bounty of kool aid pies. (whats with the poor people thing, is orleander poor or is it only poor children that make novelty foods?) how else will we describe the pie assembly? i know what you mean though, best pie i've ever had was made from scratch by a friend's mum, i would pay anything shy of 20 bucks for that pie (it was really big - easily enough for 2).
I think she meant "poor people" like... how sad for them. Not that they were finacially poor, just that it was sad that people in the future won't know how to cook and eat a good healthy home cooked meal. I teach both my boys to cook and eat healthy foods from scratch. Even pizza and macaroni with real cheeses and herbs. It's so much better for them than all this processed/pre-packaged crap. It's fine for starving college students, but growing children need healthy nutrition to help them develop, not crap that's easy to make because parents are too busy to cook or too ignorant to cook them real healthy meals. Pre-packaged processed foods and fast foods are the problem with obesity in America. No one knows how to make real food, they make all this junk that's loaded with salts, fats, preservatives and corns instead. Last night for dinner, my kids had shrimp scampi with whole wheat linguine and a spinach salad with mandarins and cottage cheese. They made it all themselves, and they are 14 and 8. Buy your kids a cookbook. It will bring them years of enjoyment.
