i read that the scorpions in australia are not deadly. if they contain poison it wont kill you, unlike in u.s and i guess mexico. i just read it on a web site so i am assuming it is accurate.
since this is the most DEADLIEST animals thread i thought that was understood. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! and i have a spelling disability so easy on the insults.:: next time i will be sure to use the spell checker. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
And since you made a false claim... Look at this way: You said that you'd just that information on a website. Suppose someone took YOUR claim as truth (with as much checking as you appear to have done) and then found a scorpion in Oz. Oops. Alternatively: just post what you actually mean. Keep trying, there was no insult. I merely stated that I assumed you meant "scorpion". I allowed for the possibility that you meant something that I'd never heard of. (Ever thought of using a spell-checker?).
if they picked up a scorpin in australia i dont know what would happen and that is why i read this: http://www.elton.iinet.net.au/page61.html
I lived in Arizona for many years and we routinely encountered scorpions in our house. Very few of the species have poison that is deadly to humans. And most of the ones that do are like rattlesnakes: dial 911 and get medical care within fifteen minutes and you'll be all right. Our dog was always chasing scorpions, so we had to assume that he was doing it when we weren't around to supervise, and he must have been stung hundreds of times. He never mainfested any symptoms of discomfort, much less serious injury.
i never seen a scorprion. according to the web site i link to the ones in north american and especially mexico can be deadly. supposedly none in australia are but best to do some research on it before playing with one.
So you didn't actually read it you just assumed what it said. Your comment: What your (claimed) source says: and
did you read the link? post somehting that says australian scrpoions are deadly. i dont just take one web site i read as factual but seems like they know what they are talking about.
Yes: it says Australian scorpions ARE poisonous. I didn't, at any point, claim they're deadly, but since you insist: http://www.avru.org/compendium/biogs/A000054b.htm http://greenerme.com/green-solutions-global-eco-forum/enviro-stories/scorpions-in-sydney-homes.php Happy now?
Cats don't get ADHD. It's simply the rest of the world's fault for having things that aren't interesting enough for long enough. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Man is the most dangerous animal. King cobra is very dangerous. It has enough venom to kill a grown up elephant. It is known to chase humans, if angered sufficiently. If you site one, save your life, diginity be damned.
easy way to tell a scorpions poison content is claw to tail ratio. The claws will be small and the tail will be big for a more poisonous one and vice versa.
