Well, I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, despite the fact that it was simultaneous worldwide broadcast but.... let's just say... not happy.

    SPOILERS BELOW

I thought it was okay, or at least it was more or less what I expected. The notion of the alternate reality as a waiting room that they jointly constructed to find one another before entering heaven was unexpected, but it was mildly interesting insofar as it allows one to speculate on who was not there. Michael and his son, for instance, not to mention the dog, and most of the tailies and the Others.

Jack's death was a good one, and you still got to see that everyone wound up happy, including him. It wasn't terribly deep, but that show was mostly about presenting mysteries, not answers.

    i watched since 2005.
After 5 years by questions are not answered.
Many things happened,i was longing for answers not to see them happy in the end.
But at least it wasn't something lame like aliens or a reality show.
With all the dharma thing i always thought it get too sci-fi towards the end ,surprisingly it went abra-kadabra.
At least it wasn't predictable ,that alone made me enjoy the ending.
No more lost ,they found their bodies ;(

Hard to say. At one point, it's revealed that they indeed id all die. But, that doesn't explain a), how they left the island and b), how some of them, at the end of this episode, escaped the island.

All in all, it seems as if they had no clue what to do, and so they just winged it...

    Sad.

I freely admit that I gave up on the damn thing about four weeks ago. I got fed up with it after watching it faithfully for all those years. It just started getting stoopid. They were introducing new characters spuriously and taking us back to an era we had never seen before, in order to explain things that didn't make any sense.

This was just not good writing. That's an awful way to tell a story. You're not supposed to spring so many surprises on us at the very end!

I always felt like they were trying to maintain the story as science fiction, with maybe a whiff of the supernatural for the benefit of the stereotypical lowbrow TV audience. But at the end they just gave up any pretense of artistic integrity and turned it into a full-bore fantasy.

Now don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against fantasy. Three of my favorite shows of all time were "Angel," "Highlander" and "Witchblade." But they were set up as fantasies at the beginning, the fantasy components were well defined and consistent, and they stuck to the rules of their own universe up through the very last episode. (Well not "Witchblade," Yancy Butler fell off the wagon and they had to cancel the series.)

But the writers and producers of "Lost" set us up for sci fi. They kept explaining everything rationally: the polar bears escaped from a zoo that the Dharma people had set up. Everyone who came to the island underwent an improvement in their health, maybe something undetected in the air or the water. Yatta yatta, okay. I kept expecting more rational explanations for everything, and instead they started tossing so much supernatural bullshit at us that it became difficult to follow it all.

    Very disappointed!

If this entire drama was nothing but the last thoughts of a group of people who were dying in a plane crash, it was too goddamned long! These morons need to re-read "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge" and learn how to do it right! The TV version of that was only a half hour, with commercials, and it was a perfect adaptation.

And if they really expected us to suddenly buy into the idea of heaven as a real place, well then fuck them all!

I hope I can remember the names of the assholes who made this show. I'm never watching any of their crap again! I am so glad I didn't watch the ending. There would be a hole in my TV screen.

they all weren't dead at the same time, it's where they all ended up, remember when hurley came out of the church and asked if ben was coming in, he told ben he was a good number two and ben said he was a great number one, that was a reference to hurley taking over the care of the island. the answers are there you just have to know what the actual questions are.

I felt so justified. It got pretty obvious that the producers had no idea in the first season where the show was going, and at the end they had no idea how they got there.

But they sure had fun when anytime they set down to write the next episode, they started laughing and said: Just how the fuck can we mess with the gullible fans of the show most???

But hey, they made money, people liked it, so who am I to judge? For me the show went awkward when the island got moved, I think in season 3 or 4... After that it was total bullshit, but I like to watch pretty people in beautiful enviroment...

I quit watching after season three. It got a little bit too weird.
