Yes. Hiding behind a fake faith wall and throwing insults over it.

Lory is a good example of such.

No wonder the church hierarchies are trying to put a burr under the saddle of their apologists, They are becoming the laughing stock of the world.

i've answered plenty of your questions, and it's not my fault if you don't think things through a bit more thoroughly before you ask them.

reading about something and experiencing something are two very different things.

since the evidence you (lie and say you) seek comes from god and not man, you are the laughing stock. only those of us who know that aren't laughing. it's not funny.

My opinion is that it is all speculations. And moreover, there are different concepts of who/what "God" is

But the basic premise of there being a God is not supported by evidence. You can't say, for instance, that the only evidence for a black hole is within a black hole and thus unattainable.

the evidence from god is not unattainable. i and many others have attained it. but that's the way it works. i can't turn around and present that same evidence to you. i can testify, and you can tell me i'm full of shit. but until you seek and you find from god himself/itself, there's just no way to know for sure.

It's there just the same from that of any other theist or deist, each with contradictory beliefs. It works just the same for them. They also can't present any evidence but can testify just as strong and faithful as you. I hope you can see my point.

A favorite saying is - "Let go and Let God". Let go of what exactly? Common sense, reason, logic? and then miraculously you will find the God you were destined to believe in?

If only you can see it, it's not really evidence.

I agree. This is exactly the scientific position on Gravity.

Except Gravity never told us it was OK to invade nations, take slaves, and rip unborn babies from the wombs of the captured women.

I agree with the OP, all discussions on God other than a rejection of the premise are futile and speculative. There can never be any evidence of God.

Yeah but, since when do we ever listen to god? Oh wait a minute...we do horrible things like that all the time don't we?

Is that like when a tree falls in the forest and there's nobody around to hear it?

The message I'm getting is that the "god experience" is personal. There's absolutely no way in hell that can be validated by another. So maybe it is a pointless endeavor to discuss the matter.

To debate it? I think so.

To exchange experiences and ideas, this is good.

To hurt other people over the One True Way? this is evil.

Ask any believer, regardless of his religion, and he will say his way is the true way.

All believers in a miracle working theist God are delusional and following religions and tradition, not any particular God.

Yes it does happen all the time. Google for the number of times people have killed in the name of God. It happens far too often.

oh honey, why don't you google how many times people have killed in the name of money, or pride, or anger. don't even act like someone has to believe in god to kill.

Apples and oranges. I never said it was an exclusive claim, but people never say money told them to do something, do they? God supposedly SPEAKS to people, and commands they commit these acts.

That's the same voice you have in your head.

It's not apples and oranges according to scripture which clearly states that the holy spirit is not the only spiritual influence (voice) out there.

And the only thing god has asked me to do is send someone flowers so...
