    100.00 for phone
    100.00 per month
    +traps,apps and craps.

    "smart" phone?...only for marketers.

while I still need land lines for PC and home phone ,Im just fine with the pre-paid cell account at $15.00/month.

Kids love BBM, they love to pretend they are their parents who have one for work.

And until Apple figures out how to secure it's shit(I will short sell Rim stock myself), RIM will always have the business market.

I made 5000 off RIM's stock last week.

Good thing about my old bb curve, I loved the hardware. It was light and the weight was balanced, it wascompact and sturdy, and I miss the trackball. It's drive my husband crazy heh. The vertical orientation with the qwerty at the bottom was so perfect that when I had to get rid of it, I opted for the droid pro, even though it's motorola.

On the down side, the screen is small. On thr up side, it goes everywhere with you.

I watch netflix on my phone when I'm on the bus.

But still manage to keep a significant market share.

That's just not true, as most smartphones offer encrypted pushmail these days. Most large companies offer mail services to Android, iPhones, and Windows Mobile using native servers.

"BlackBerry, according to new research, is becoming increasingly popular with the youth market thanks to its BlackBerry Messenger Service."

I have an android now. I had an Apple IPhone before but the Iphone 4 doesn't have 4G within it. I like the 4.5 inch screen size and many other features as well. Mine is made by Samsung and so far after 3 months of use , I've had very few problems and they all were resolved within a few minutes with a tech .

I have one for emergency use only, use a land line for business and another LL for personal.

"Be here, now." That means completely here, not plugged in to a noisy toy.

Noisy toy. I like that, very accurate really. This is descriptive of a lot of modern technology - even the one we are using here. Cell phones are annoying electronic leashes too. Basic cell phone for me with no text plan, and no camera (can't have one where I work because of confidentiality of prototype vehicles). By the way, probably the first Ram Dass quote I've seen here.

Depends on how you use it.

To me, it's a lot more convenient than carrying around a bag full of books and paaper issues of newspapers and magazines. And a laptop.

When you don't think you should be using it, you put it away. If you want peace, you turn it off. It's that simple.

Sony have the best cameras and media players. All depends on what you want most I guess.

I've never had a problem with their phones.

Yeah, but it's not a USP any longer.

I can't assume anything 'cos your poll is badly constructed.

14% market share. Doing quite well.
That's share prices, not market share, do you understand the difference?

Also, did you know that the next version of Blackberry OS will be able to run Android Apps? So there'll be little choose between two, and it will give the platform a boost?
