    Its a worry I have, along with pancreatic cancer. I call it quirky, my husband calls it stupid. LOL

    That's how I am with diabetes. My sis has it and I'm shit scared of developing it myself.

    No I think it's impossible to eliminate rabies in bats.

    However, this should be good news:

    I was bitten by a bat once but luckily no transmission and never sought medical attention.

    Saw the doctor. Told him exactly what happened, every little detail etc. then we discussed my general health. He checked my blood pressure, said it was a tiny bit high and that is just because I might be nervous, nothing significant. Checked my heart-beat and looked into my eyes while I looked in a certain direction. He told me that everything seemed okay, it doesn't appear to be a panic attack and it wasn't a seizure either, doesn't fit the criteria. So now I have to get a blood test done, after that make another appointment with the doctor.

    But he said all seems fine and that I shouldn't worry about it.

    Feel a lot better now.
