    I'm not so sure your interpretation is correct.

    The UN is investigating reports.

    But it does bring-up a question.

    When is it proper to intervene, especially in regards to sectarian unrest? (Which it may not be in totality!) It is important to note that the discord between the Rakhine and the Rohingya did not just happen. It has been a refugee problem for some time. And the recent violence was sparked by the accusation that Muslims men (Rohingya Muslim from Bangladesh) raped and killed a local woman (Rakhine Buddhist).

    Burma is the only place I know of where Buddhists are attacking people, Muslims. This is a very old grudge between these groups of people. Maybe the US military can go there after it deals with the axis of evil.
