Im having a problem responding to a thread the post takes a while then comes up with "Do you want to leave page" warning box, click yes then it comes up with error duplicate post repost in 10 seconds then click resubmit and it comes up with the database error message Happened on both chrome and IE Went and did something else then went back to resubmit page and it FINALLY posted
It was doing that to me earlier too. I had to just keep waiting and trying. in some instances it was giving a database error. but it seems ok for the moment.
You are not alone. Sometimes the system incorrectly invokes the "wait.. between making consecutive posts" rule/message/limitation which prevents posting altogether. Sometimes it invokes the "post awaiting moderator.." message. Seems like someone is attempting to modify the software relating to poster status and conditions (to prevent/deny new/spam posters from inundating etc?). Anyhow, I'll see if this escapes the bugs affecting the system today! Cheers! [update: no, this didn't escape the bugs....it finally got posted overnight (here)....good luck, everyone!].
I'm having the same problem as well. When I make a post it keeps doing the same thing , over and over at times but on a few occasions it doesn't happen at all but those are few and far between. It seems just another "glitch" is happening with this new update.
