You are being extraordinarily dense. President Obama, or any president, is not responsible for every crime in the nation simply because the crime occurred during his/her term in office. You apparently have a difficult time understanding this very basic fact. When George Junior was president you and those like you never blamed him for every crime in the nation. You never blamed him for 9/11. In fact, the conservative talking point was to call all those who disagreed with George Junior a traitor as he was a war time president. And it was traitorious to disagree with a war time president. You guys seem to have forgotten that when a Democrat was elected POTUS. It is a big thing to forget. What you don’t want to see or admit is your inconsistency on this and many other issues. No one is blaming George Junior here. You are using George Junior as a red herring to distract from the inconsistencies in the claims that you have made. You’re using a straw man fallacy. And so did I and every other current and past member of the armed forces take an oath to defend the Constitution of The United States from all enemies foreign and domestic, does that make us all responsible for what happened on Monday? No of course not, you are being ridiculous. And I wish I could say you were the conservative exception. But I cannot. You are all too representative of the American conservative movement, mindlessly repeating this sort of nonsense. Hannity, Limbaugh and Rupert Murdoch would be proud of you. These so called conservatives/Republicans drag out the old “Blame Georgie” straw man and use it as a red herring every time they get their tails tangled in reality and burdened with reason and errors of fact.
Here's a different theory: Bombs in rubbish bins scattering deadly ball bearings were a hallmark of the IRA, and Boston has always been the home of American IRA sympathisers. One police officer pointed out that the technique for building a ball bearing bomb in a backpack is readily available on-line. That old IRA standby, the nail bomb, is a cruel weapon.
Neither would have caused much damage if Boston had kept their concrete trash bins, not replaced them with metal and plastic ones.
Reinforced concrete will absorb a huge amount of energy, granted. Happy days for concrete bin manufacturers.
It really doesn't matter what it is when it's coming at you at 7K+ feet per second. It is going to do damage if it hits you.
This article says that small ball bearings of mixed size are most dangerous. Not what I would have expected, but possibly true nonetheless. The most widely used and the most dangerous shrapnel consists of ball bearings 3-7 millimeters in diameter. In the most severe terrorist acts - in the Delfinarium, Sbarro, in the banquet hall in Netania - the bombs of the suicide-bombers were filled with steel balls. http://www.waronline.org/en/terror/suicide.htm Maybe there is less energy lost in friction.
"Paul Kevin Curtis, 45, was arrested at 5:15 p.m. at his apartment in Corinth, near the Tennessee state line about 100 miles east of Memphis, said FBI Special Agent in Charge Daniel McMullen. It wasn’t immediately known where he was being held." - Washington Post http://www.washingtonpost.com/natio...d88156-a7bb-11e2-9e1c-bb0fb0c2edd9_story.html So while KC may have approved the message, others do not. I suspect KC might be getting that message in spades this evening.
wow, that was fast. Can't believe he actually used his real initials, I expected something cryptic. He's most definitely related to the bombings.
I think it takes some time to prepare the ricin, so it's unlikely he decided to make poison after hearing news of the bombings. Or it could be coincidental, he could've been planning to poison Obama when the bombings occurred. But that would mean two nutcases operating simultaneously. Unlikely but possible. Unlikely to be Islamic terrorists because they always claim responsibility. It could be Fat Kimmy but he doesn't seem to have said anything about it.
1. An Elvis Impersonator. Really, he is. Soon to be performing Jailhouse Rock, Return to Sender etc 2. Have a look at this stuff posted on Infowars. It shows possible pictures of 2 bombers and 2 minders. http://www.infowars.com/boston-bombing-culprits-found/ Could Alex have the scoop of his life here? 3. Just in case you thought things couldn't get any worse, guess who are coming to Boston? Yes, it's... Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Oh, so he's not actually an Elvis impersonator by profession. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Those WBCs are gonna say this is God's will again? I think they've actually done a lot for gay rights because they alienate moderates. And I scrolled through all the pics. Those dudes in black really look the part. Though I think Alex Jones is raving nuts. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
That's all nice, timing-wise, but why that guy? Coincidences are unlikely, but they do happen. Actually Islamic terrorists don't always claim responsibility. If no one had, I'd consider it more likely to be them - anything that damages the kufr being though of as a good thing in their eyes without the explicit need for a statement. But right-wing terrorists are by their very nature political beasts. How could they effect the societal change they so desperately seek without making some kind of statement?
