After all , we all , on this Planet , are Human Beings foremost

Why not make Human Beings above any other philosophy of existence ? No gods of any metaphysics is above Humanity

Sure there is a Creator of nature where we are part of it . He does not want to dictate us , He just want that we don't harm each other

Yes, river described the definition of the philosophical ideology of Humanism down to the letter. Which by definition it would be more appropriate to place this thread in the General Philosophy forums.

In truth, this type of philosophy exists already in different forms, no?

I suppose it is. This is what religion was supposed to teach us , and will evolve eventually into humanism.

Pluralism certainly plays a role in Humanism but it more accurate to say Humanism is more of a perceptual philosophy, each person can define what is beneficial or detrimental for their fellow humans. However Humanism as a whole holds some universal aspects of promoting basic human rights. Basically Humanism calls for treating all humans humanly and with dignity, respect, compassion, equality and overall promote beneficial progress.

    Hmmm.... True but more importantly

My take on Humanism , would be that it teachs us to believe in our ourselves

So that we see ourselves as independent beings , that have out grown the concept of any god

    Humanity based religion

There is a rule prevalent through societies that is followed by atheists, humanists etc, far older than christianity or any other "religion", developed through the experiences of the earliest human beings. They learned by trial and error that co-operation, fellowship, compassion were beneficial to the continued prosperity of the group. It is an evolutionary self-evident universal maxim........Do to others as you would have others do to you.

All else follows as night follows day if we all observe this simple rule.

We didn't need spirits, ghosts or gods to tell us this. We dont need the ominous threat of retribution to coerce us into obeying this rule.

It is an evolved natural inclination in all human beings.

Though I must admit that some humans have developed a strategy to suppress this natural inclination when the occasion calls for it.

You are speaking like a child that grew up that was raised by the father and now he knows better then the father.

    What father? Who's father?

There are compelling reasons to be convinced of the inherent truth of the Golden Rule. Expressed in other words but with the same compelling message, it is found in the codes of conduct of societies far older than christian or judaic ones.

If you are critical of my sentiments please be a little clearer as to the character of that criticism.

The essential problem is that far from any amount of co-operative human endeavours coming close to solving essential problems of existence, godlessness tends to exacerbate them .

And you have evidence that Humanism does the same? Or are you merely lumping humanism with all other godless philosophies?

You already started at least one thread like this.

If you are taking humans and their associated issues pertaining to the phenomenal world as the pinnacle of all endevaours, I fail to see how you can lump it outside of godlessness.

Yeah, those suckers should subscribe to a Humanity based religion in which any god concept is excluded! What are they waiting for, can't they see that Humanity is our only truth, our only salvation?!

Indeed, it now stands revealed as being actively discriminatory; far from pulling down any (mythical) barriers to joining the movement, the Guide leaders are actually putting them up.

Under the spurious guise of encouraging membership by atheists, or (inexplicably) those with an aversion to serving their country, the Guides are now threatening to expel those who wish to express a religious belief.

A belief, moreover, which forms the basis of the Christian values in which the Girl Guide movement is rooted, and on which its identity rests.

Yet this movement is now actively discriminating against those who wish to proclaim the continuation of those religious values at its own core.

Having dumped God and country altogether, it is now actually forbidding Guides – on pain of excommunication – to promise to serve anything beyond

I guess this makes the girl guides avante garde in the salvation department

I am not suggesting it should or should not be taken as the pinnacle of anything, so your strawman is noted but ignored.

My point, that you have clearly missed, is that you seem to be committing the fallacy of generalisation in that you have yet to provide any rationale that suggests Humanism itself exacerbates problems of existence.
Instead you have merely lumped it in with godlessness, and claimed that godlessness tends to exacerbate problems of existence. I.e. you have not addressed the specific of Humanism but instead jumped to the generalisation of godlessness.

So let me ask in more specific terms: What is it that makes all godless philosophies exacerbate such problems, such that none (e.g. Humanism) could possibly be exempt from your statement?

Yes it does. And may I point out the hypocrisy of an organization devoted to girls which pays homage to the God of Christianity, one of the most anti-feminist organizations in history.
