i get the above error when i mouse-over the alert, in-box, and leopold buttons in the upper right corner.
if i stay on the same page the error doesn't reoccur.
apparently the error only appears once if you stay on the same page
closing the error message allows me to view the selected items normally.

also my firewall logged an error when the error message appeared.

mousing over the "remove formatting" and "use BB code editor" causes javascript:void(null) to appear in the lower left corner of my browser.

    OS, win XP SP2
    browser firefox 31.0

Leopold, what was your firewall exception message?

Edit: I have the edit button, but I have to right-click, new tab to use it.

Thanks. That looks like a time-out from the new board software.

I expect the devs will fix this and all the other errors as they get to them.

i can't find my recent posts or threads.

the "more options" button just takes me to a reply to thread box.

some changes to my profile doesn't "stick"

Today is the first day I've been able to do anything other than log-in.

Plasma, can we please change the way links are rednered because at the moment trying to spot inline links is a pain in the ass.

On the "new posts" page, I can only view page 1. If I click to see page 2, it just reloads page 1.

I made post on new from but can't find it. (I really need the old list of post I was subscribed to)
In that post I asked for help in getting old avatar back, but as you can see, I found something like it in my own PC files and was able to make it replace the big question mark; However can't find how to add any text under it. I. e. the post before this one has "Dr_Toad, it's green"

    I want text:
Please use sugar cane alcohol fuel.
under my polar bear on ice avatar if possible; Just do that for me if you have that power.

By edit: I now see that text, except for final word: fuel.

Looks like there is space for: Help me!
in front of: Please use sugar cane alcohol fuel.
If not, just make the text:
Help me, use sugar cane alcohol fuel.

Or tell me how I can make it say that. - Thanks.

The server responded with an error. The error message is in the JavaScript console when I access "inbox and Alerts.

Also, it appears I am unable to log out..

Strangely enough, when I had no privilege to post or read the site, I was able to log out. I haven't tried since I got my access again. Scared to, to be honest..

I do miss my Stewie in his Calvin Klein underwear avatar though.

But I do like the bigger avatar's and I quite like the brightness of this new site and the options when doing a quick reply and the fact that all the buttons themselves are darker and stand out. It will take some getting used to. Although the new smilies made me smile..

As for the bugs and the kinks, they need to be ironed out. And that may take some time. At best, this is a much safer site than the previous one and much more secure. I take having some bugs and issues that can be fixed over having hackers gaining access to my information any day personally.

    Just give it some time.

Super glue. (some people can use to harden nails, peronsally I wouldn't know but since we are in a thread about debugging things I thought it might be handy)

I should really put a warning/caution that is a rogue idea and not tested, or we could end up with people sticking their fingers together.

The "Trophy/Point system" is based upon how many times a post is "Liked" and how many posts a person has posted. For the most part you'll find most people with high post numbers will have up to 36 trophy points, the points could be higher if their posts get "Liked" however I'm not sure how many people actually do that currently since it's very Social Networking orientated.

You'll have to use the Tabbed/open new window method to get around the errors.

That had me foxed to begin with, however I eventually worked out that from the main home page when you are logged in you'll see your username on the top right of the template. Just click there and it will generate a dropdown that handles things like your profile, preferences etc but at the bottom of that box is the option to logout.
