Yes it is. Thousands of paranormal investigations all over the world have accumulated mountains of evidence for ghosts. You have only to research it yourself.

    I'm sure we will.

And no, if it was an attempt to ban you, I'd just do it and damn the consequences. It's obvious you have no intention to take part in any rational or scientific discussion here... why you keep getting a pass on this bullshit is beyond me.

And yet not a single one of these "investigations" that has turned up "evidence" can be reproduced following anything even remotely resembling a scientific study... interesting how that works. Are ghosts just shy?

Probably because the site owners see how much posting activity I add to this site. That means more money for them.

Posting activity =/= meaningful contributions to a SCIENCE forum.

Oh ho ho, so you readily admit that you are a quantity over quality kind of member... now THAT I can certainly agree with!

If it was just quantity of posts we were worried about, why don't we just go hire some kids to come and talk about how much school lunches suck and how they hate their homework...

Oh, right... because this isn't a damn facebook style social media site

And you are insulting me because I make an obvious inference based on the stupidity of your claims.
Like I said, if the cap fits, wear it.

True, I have offered no explanation because at this time, as far as I know, it remains unexplained.
What I do though is refute your silly claim that the evidence is strong, particularly in light of the situation and scenario when it was purportedly heard.
I'm with the rest of the sceptics that weren't there, and oppose your own immediate "jumping to supernatural" conclusions as you always do, even though you weren't there!

And I think we are done here. The subject is no longer being discussed and we are now down to personal insults.

A word of advice to MR..

Look, we get it, you are passionate about this kind of thing. A lot of people are. But more people are passionate about scientific reasoning and do not jump on the 'it must be supernatural' bandwagon right from the get go.

And I think that is the issue here. You are simply refusing to acknowledge all the reasonable and natural things it could be. You do not eliminate the rational explanations. Instead, you have a habit of going directly to the 'it must be supernatural' explanation and deliberately ignoring everything else that could explain it. So much so, you refuse to acknowledge that it could be an actual person or even the sound of water on the rocks or anything else that is tangible.

It is that refusal to acknowledge a rational explanation or to even admit that it could be anything else but supernatural is what people find galling. You remind me of the young earth creationists who refuse to acknowledge all scientific discovery about things like the age of the earth and the moon, the dinosaur bones, the bones of human and hominid ancestors and carbon dating, because to them, the only explanation they could conceivably accept is that God did it all a few thousand years ago. In that sense, you are exactly like them.

My advice to you, MR, is that before you immediately declare it must be supernatural, you need to eliminate all rational and scientific explanations and support your argument with scientific data. Not from kook sites that make money off gullible people, but from actual scientific studies and journals.

A final note.. This is, at its heart, a science forum. We expect rational discourse. And if you wish to believe that everything around you is from a supernatural cause, then you need to be able to support that and eliminate all scientific and rational causes first. Your say so is not enough. This may be the fringe section, but if you are going to make claims that contradict scientific reason, then you have to be able to support that with actual science through the process of eliminating all scientific and rational explanations.

You know, beating a dead horse won't conjure up its ghost.

So you admit that it's evidence, since you can't debunk it? Of course. That's why you ignored them in the last thread. Makes sense. Thanks.

Here's 29 of the best ghost photos ever taken. Note most all of these are before the age of photo shop and have been confirmed as real. Note also that if even one of these is true, we have definite proof of the supernatural.

They whine and cry for evidence, and then when we present it, they refuse to accept it. What does this say about their objectivity? No much...

You realize reposting a locked topic is a direct violation of the site rules, right?

Ghost? You mean someone standing behind her out of focus...

So, all I have to do to be a ghost is stand halfway behind a wall? Good to know!

Okay, those first three look like a funky reflection in a glass door... nothing to see here. That fourth one, I'm not even sure wtf we're looking at... but this seems like it is a clear case of Pareidolia

Looks like someone with a blanket over their head holding onto a stairway railing in poor light... whoop-dee-doo.

Oooh look, it's someone hiding in the underbrush...
