Daecon and Paddoboy have both said that they are 100% confident Bigfoot is not real. This is a simple test to make sure you aren't lying. Put your money where your mouth is. If Bigfoot ever turns out to be real, you pay me a lump sum of $1000. If you are 100% sure, this would be no problem.

But if you don't agree, you can't be 100% sure, that makes you both liars, on top of the others you've told already on this forum. What's it going to be, boys?

    Yeah, sure, whatever.

And if Bigfoot ISN'T real, you pay us $1000 instead.

I'd rather most people believe he isn't real. Can you imagine how long they'd last once everybody knew they were out there? They'd be hunted down, captured, or killed. It'd be the end of Bigfoot for sure.

This is a classic unwinnable bet: there is no timeline, so it is technically always possible, in principle, to prove bigfoot exists at a later date.

This is in addition to the obvious problem of the bet lacking a referee to decide if/when it has been won/lost.

A better bet would be to set a 1 year time limit on the supposed DNA test he's refusing to spend 2000 to do: if it doesn't get published as confirmed in a respected scientific journal in 1 year, garbonzon pays each of you 1000. This has the added benefit of removing his "It's too expensive!" whiney excuse for failure: he can just pay for the test with a credit card, then get the money back in a few months, to pay for the test by winning the bet! Unless, of course, he's full of crap...

Another thread for the cesspool! Probably also worthy of a ban for re-opening a cesspooled thread...

It's supposed to be an unwinnable bet on my side. It's a test to prove what they are saying is something they truly believe. Your idea would be great if I had a Bigfoot hair....

I assume it will die on its own, but I want it here for posterity. Do I have permission to harass Daecon for my money if Bigfoot turns out to exist?

So Bigfoot is not allowed to be discussed on the Monsters sub forum?

Kittamaru tried that when he locked a thread on poltergeists and I opened another one on poltergeists, which he also locked. Bells overrode his ass and unlocked it, and nobody was banned. The logic is this: if a thread is locked for trolling or pissing matches, it isn't due to the topic of discussion. Thus another thread on that topic is no problem. It's a common tactic of trolls though to get threads shut down with their whining and bitching. As is being done here. It's a way of censoring discussion on these topics.

    • Poaching is hunting and killing or the capturing of animals.

    • The main reason for poaching is money, they sell the carcass, bone, tusk, and horn etc. to Black Markets. Ivory and fur are items people want most and can cost thousands of dollars.

    • Religion is another reason animals are poached . Some religions believe certain animals to be pests, so they hunt them to “keep their land clean”. Some religions also protect certain animals from being hunted because they believe that the animals are sacred.

    • Billions of animals are hunted world wide every year, they are wounded and left to bleed to death, or dye of infection, thirst or starvation.

    • Babies are very often orphaned and left to starve and die. Hunters kill the mates of animals who mate for life.

    • They suffer prolonged, painful deaths when hunted for sport. Bow hunters spend hours tracking the blood trails of animals before finding them.

    • Hunting disrupts migration and hibernation patterns and destroys families. For wolves, who mate for life and live in close family units, hunting can devastate entire communities.

    • Stress also causes animals to run onto roadways, abandon their young, or become weak and vulnerable to diseases.
    Examples of poaching:

The Canadian seal hunt. Seal hunters use long wooden clubs with spikes on the end and club them to death. They are killed for fun as well as for their soft white fur (for pups) which is then turned into a coat, hat, or rug.

    • Tigers and elephants are still being hunted, captured and killed illegally by poachers. This is a serious problem that is driving these animals closer to extinction every day.

    • Tigers are killed for their organs, pelts and bones

    • There were 100,000 tigers in Asia, now there are 3,200 left in the wild, If this continues, tigers will be extinct in a few decades."===http://www.animalrescuecrusade.com/#!hunting--poaching/c510

So how come nobody has ever poached a bigfoot then?

    Because they don't exist, duh.

    Mod Note

Thread closed and going to the Cesspool.

Please do not try to over-ride a moderator's actions. Doing so is expressly against this site's rules. And reopening a discussion to effectively troll and flame other members is really not on.
