Fine. Now admit that for all we know they may have mundane explanations - everyone of them. Can you do that?

He could... but then he'd be admitting he's wrong

Presumably you mean the bit I just quoted.
The point is, if they are from "another dimension" [blech!] then, by definition, they're not from Earth as we know it.
Which makes them alien in the sense of "extraterrestrial".

What Daecon says makes some sense.
I have raised this issue before; Why do we not give our alternative hypothesis/Supernatural/UFO of alien origin/general nonsense pushers a month to put their cases.
If they are unable to show within that month sufficient evidence to support their nonsensical claims, or fail to answer probing pertinent questions, then their threads be cesspooled.
    It works.
On another issue, Science forums like other forums, generally have a fixed interest by members, and from observation, they mostly exist on a few posters per day.
We are a haven for nutbags in general, due to the wide ranging subject matter in this forum, and that sees us open to the nutbags in general and religious fanatics.
What daily contributions that are lost if these nutbags were curtailed somewhat [perhaps my previous suggestion] would possibly see the return of some more interested in real sciences, like the Grumpy's and Aid's and even Professor Link Bennett who was obvious turned away by the refusal to accept common cosmological data by one particular contributor.
I believe he otherwise may still be contributing much needed knowledge.
What Daecon suggests with regards to the amount of nutbags on this forum of late and their refusal to accept legitimate logical scientific explanations, may be driving those truly interested in scientific discussion away.
We have the previous banned theorist constant and his persistent nonsense, the present fanatical religious preacher now trying to make his mark, the river's and MR's claiming the supernatural and bizarre.
While a few of us may prefer to linger and refute these nuts and their claims for what they are, some also like the ones I have mentioned, are driven away by such absurd nonsensical claims.

Are we after contributors that contribute in numbers daily irrespective of the quality of those contributions, or are we more concerned with contributions that stick to mainstream accepted science?

My argument as I have presented many times, is simple....We are not going to get any alternative hypothesis with any substance, by anyone on this or any other science forum.
That's just not going to happen.
The genuine discoverers and those with new brilliant ideas, will near certainly do it via the proper methodology...publishing a scientific paper with a reputable publisher and undergoing competent peer review.
We are not going to discover an Einstein here, nor any of the four who over the time I have been here, claim to have a TOE.
What's more important? Losing genuine people interested in science?Or losing a few anti science, gullible ghost believing anal probed ratbags?

No..the particular ufo examples I select defy mundane explanations. These are eliminated, leaving us with only otherworldly causes.

No..an interdimensional isn't "from outer space". They're from another dimension.

Considering that Earth isn't in "another dimension" anyone from that other dimension is, by definition, extraterrestrial.

Only in the opinion of impressionable gullible buffoons.
    They simply remain UFO's
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, not your wishy washy say so, or some word of mouth by some individual that was anal probed out at the back of nowhere.
If you automatically assign the sightings as of alien origins, then you are very gullible to put it as mildly as possible.

    Correct.
But then again I didn't say it was.

Therefore not "our" Earth. Therefore alien.

You really should get a 10 year old to explain these concepts to you, given the obvious difficulties you have grasping what's written.

Um, you mean "leaving us with no explanation (currently)".

Right. That's what the dictionary said an alien is from. Outer space. Ergo, an interdimensional is not an alien.

So 62 schoolchildren on a playground in Zimbabwe all see a saucer craft land in the field nearby and see two blackeyed alien-looking beings come out and stare at them. They are all terrified and run screaming into the school. What's the mundane explanation here?

    Oh dear.
    Keep taking the reading lessons.
Maybe you didn't notice, or perhaps didn't understand, the semi colon between "outer space" and "extraterrestrial".
Extraterrestrial: outside, or originating outside, the limits of the earth.
And, as previously explained, numerous times, coming from another (highly-fictional) dimension constitutes not of Earth.

Nope..62 kids can't have the same hallucination. There's no illusion of the atmosphere that accounts for this. Confusion? Nope. They were very clear and scared of what they saw. No mundane explanation exists. The only thing that fits are advanced nonhuman beings from some other dimension/world.

    I'm out.
If MR is going to resort to such obvious lies I have better things to do.

Yep, certainly they can. Kids are impressionable as seems you are.
The rest of your claims are just a result of your own opinionated gullibility.
Oh, and don't forget....any possible Interdimensional creature is an Alien...OK?
