Are felines living on more than just one Universe

    Hi All,
Looking at the comments on Cliff Pickover's book in Amazon I found this comment:

    http://www.amazon.com/Sex-Drugs-Ein...ortBy=bySubmissionDateDescending&pageNumber=6

"I believe that we now have evidence that we do live in a very improbable parallel world. We can trace the branching of our world from the more probable universe to the ninth inning of fourth game of the 2004 ALCS playoff game when the New York Yankees, up by three games to none over the Boston Red Sox in the series and by one run in the fourth game, failed to retire the Red Sox and eventually went on to lose the playoff series four games to three. In the real universe, the Yankees won the playoff series in four games.
Those who associate with felines can have no doubt that they exist in more than one universe. (See "customer image" photo.) They seem to appear out of nowhere and then to vanish just as mysteriously. What are they looking at when they stare at some unseen (by humans) phenomenon so intently? Are they looking into another universe?"

    Any comments on that?

You know,to me it also sounds like speculation/nonsense,but I am gullible. And the name of the author is Paul Moscowitz, who is physicist.Probably not stpping him from writing nonsense...

Speculation? I think this all sounds very reasonable.

By the way, if you would like to live for eternity in paradise, I can arrange it, I happen to personally know God (all of them). For me to talk to God for you just buy me a 2016 Mustang (5.2L v8). Make sure the color is a metallic blue.

Oh yeah, let me know which God and paradise you are interested in.

    Thanks in advance!

    Still no mustang, origin?

I'd take origin's deal, Alexander. Eternity at the price of only one mustang!

Nope, still no mustang in the driveway, I don't get it.... Maybe if I put the offer in a Youtube video; that will prove my offer is legit!

My socks exist in more than one universe. They appear out of nowhere and then vanish just as mysteriously. Sometimes I find dirty socks that have magically appeared behind the laundry hamper, even though I certainly never placed them there intentionally. Trans-dimensional transit is the only logical explanation.

I've always thought that socks - only from different pairs - can under some circumstances annihilate and turn into a pair of discoloured knickers and a bit of fluff. This accounts for the gradual accumulation of odd socks that we all experience, and the number of pairs of unwearable knickers that your wife disposes of. The fluff ends up in the pump of the washing machine, from which it has to be periodically removed, by muggins here

Ooh, can I have some too, before this thread goes to the cesspool? Do cesspooled posts still count toward my post count?

Folks,a week ago I 've been reading review of one book "Universe and Multiple Reality" on Amazon an comments. One comment was that according to the reviewer's experience there are infinite number of universes.I asked to elaborate, and got that:

"First of all; throughout my entire life, I had learned, understood, and accepted that there was just ONE universe, while understanding Albert Einstein's theory of relativity and that space-time are relative, thus time travel is impossible (in a given universe).

Then several years ago, while I was in my deathbed in the hospital after suffering sure death from a traffic violator crossing a red light at freeway speed and impacting my side of the vehicle at full speed, thus throwing my vehicle nearly a hundred feet... I had the most unimaginable dreams in the hospital, while doctors were just wondering when I would die already because the medical bill was already over a million dollars. The dream I had involved beings I had NEVER seen in my life or even from TV. Their attitude and behavior implied both good and evil beings. Skipping past the pseudo court hearing, that described unimaginable things; there was general talk as to where I (my soul) wanted to go (in terms of location, time, and reality). For months after getting out of the hospital, I had been perplexed as to what those dreams meant or the basis for them... or what Star Trek episode I had watched that could have came close to creating that dream. hahaha Then one morning, I suddenly woke up with the word "Multiverse", while I had no idea where that word came from. Then I had the sensation that it was an explanation to all I had gone through, while I was remembering different pasts and future events (which eventually turned out to be correct). The reasoning behind the word Multiverse was that Universe started with Uni, meaning one. However, the thought / voice in my mind had said there's really more than one. There's Multi. Put them together and you get Multiverse. And without being told, I Googled the word, and was led to Wikipedia and the word Multiverse existed. Then the final thought was: There's infinite universes, but humans will only grasp a finite number of them; like they thought the world was flat for many generations. Then I read that page... And I was in shock for years.

The other thing was that in a dream, I had the opportunity to choose which reality I wanted to go to. The room was very much a vast endless room.... with no floor, while the beings, including myself, were walking on narrow pathways. I can't describe everything now as that would take long and pages... But it was almost like a transportation area.

My experiences with precognition and the explanation through dreams, with the word Multiverse coming to my mind out of nowhere after waking up one morning, are where my understanding of infinite number of universes came from.

Each universe is essentially a parallel universe. Time travel within a given universe is NOT possible, but each universe can be of different times in its space-time. There's essentially a universe being created all the time, (i'm uncertain of the frequency), there's a universe dying all the time, and every point in time always exists in some universe out there, but each universe is a different reality; almost like each universe is a grain of sand that's different from all others.... On an infinite beach.

So I'm basically spiritually educated over the concept of Multiverse, while branching the concept into Religion, the paranormal, and parapsychological phenomenons. And human talk over the Multiverse subject goes under Theoretical Science / Physics... As for the location of all these other universes... they are ALL right here within our universe, but each are phased differently as to not be noticed by other universes... Except when what appears to be ghosts appear that are conducting their activities in their time, which is the past, relative to our time. The one thing I don't quite understand is how each universe intersects. Planet Earth is not in the same spot in the universe at any two significantly distant points in time; let alone that it is turning. So the paranormal ghost connection to the Multiverse and how each universe intersects each other are where I'm currently at in terms of "trying to understand".

Wishing to go to the past for whatever reason is possible, but at a cost. (usually suffering, since evil are some of those that must be negotiated with) And the only things that can be past over are data from 6th senses. If a human doesn't grasp those thoughts, time travel by going to another universe is pointless. A human will have had paid via suffering to whatever degree and not get anything out of it if the human mind is unable to translate complicated spiritual data... such as baseless thoughts out of nowhere.

The multiverse seems complex and bound to just the field of science. But it's the platform to many subjects and the explanation to many mysteries.

And if I wasn't authorized to describe any of this, they could just blow the world up. hahaha But it's not like we'll be gone. Some will just wake up at a table during breakfast, and may mysteriously find their coffee cup in a different location or one will see they're having pancakes, but could have sworn they made oatmeal instead. That's what is called a spirit having jumped into another space-time reality (parallel universe) into the same human body, but things are slightly different.

I'm still in shock over what I know, while I'm laughing at human theories when they describe a theory I know is correct or metaphorically describing a tree by saying only one leaf exists."

I admit that I am naïve and gullible but this post sounds bizarre...

    Congratulations.
That has to be at least as useful as being oenologically educated about the concept of nuclear fission.

    Unmitigated crap.
For one thing what happens to the pre-existing "you" that was in that body/ reality?

    Hi Dywyddyr,
I also found it suspicious, o say the least. How come in his dream some entities asked him where his soul wants to go,then in another dream he found himself
in some endless room where he should choose reality, and then he claims that spirit 'jumps' to another universe. And note, he considers his dreams as indications.
Moreover,he claims to know that this theory is true...But I am puzzling with that, that he claims that never heard the word 'Multiverse' and suddenly wakes up with this word, some voice telling him that.

I'm reasonably certain that Pickover was trying to be humorous there. (It's hard to be sure, since Pickover is a peculiar guy. I've never met him, but once had an acquaintance who knew him.)

Many years ago I lived with a cat (nobody owns a cat). One day I saw that the cat was staring at something and tracking its movements. I looked where the cat was looking and 'saw' a little area of optical distortion, about two inches across, moving in a seemingly random manner. I'd be inclined to think that it was my eyes acting up, except that the cat could apparently see it too.

I remember thinking at the time that maybe there are all kinds of mysterious things around us all the time, that humans can't normally perceive.
