It's funny that you should post about this. I bought two adult colouring books for myself only yesterday.

Am I allowed to post the store links for them, or would that be seen as advertising?

Check for volunteer and mobile art classes where you are. I accidentally walked in to one once and ended up drawing an infantile looking picture of my cat amongst various nature things.

It's the latest self-help fad, often related to mindfulness.

Not that it's necessarily a bad thing.

Be my guest. Maybe SF folks would like to have them.

I heard about them on the news and the next day I saw them in stores. I wonder if they'll be a fad or if they'll still be here in ten years.

I didn't actually get mine from Amazon, I got them from a New Zealand online store called Mighty Ape.

I'd been after getting some for a couple of months now, but last week they had a few on their daily deals (one-day bargains on random items) and so I got those two on special offer. They usually have next-day delivery, but because it was Christmas it took a few days longer to get them.

The "Colour me Calm" book seems to be hand-drawn pictures, but the "Art Therapy: Mandalas" pictures look like they've been designed with a computer, the lines are much smoother and the pictures themselves are larger, almost A4 page size.

If I had to recommend one of them, I'd suggest the Art Therapy: Mandalas book.
