is the whistling in your ears a subconscious language?

Aside from tinnitus, which our neural network can experience as a local high frequency sound wave (harmonics?)
I have experienced that myself, but when I write a considered argument or rebuttal, I *hear* an extremely high pitched sound wave throughout the entirety of my brain. It can't be blood rushing through veins, but must be related to the electro-chemical functions of the neural network.

Question. If we can actually see *stars* (blips of energy produced by the brain when traumatized), why should we be unable to experience the act of *thinking*, IOW a highly complex brain activity, with certain associated wavelengths (harmonics), which we may experience as an extremely high pitched *hum* throughout the entirety of the brain? And for that matter, what are head aches?

That's what I told the police after they pulled me over when I wouldn't stop for them at first. I thought the sirens were a whistling in my ears.

You must realize though that you do not - cannot - locate a sound to be coming from inside your brain. The reason it seems to be coming from within is because it is actually being detected in your inner ear (cochlea) so there's none of the normal stereo-echolocation information that would normally tell you where it is coming from.

This can be simulated with a quality soundtrack and a good set of (old school) headphones. If the sound comes to both ears in perfect phase, your brain will interpret it as coming from inside your head.

The sound of tinnitus can be heard through a stethoscope. That's already been done. There is an actual audible noise. I imagine putting an elastic highly sensitive microphone right up as close as can be to the vestibular cochlea bone and directly picking up its noise. I also imagine doing this to a crowd of people exposed to the same stigma. Also while people sleep as I predict that's when the most involuntary activity is, then ask them what they were dreaming about to gather empirical evidence from experiments.

    Some forms of tinnitus, yes.

There is a form of tinnitus called objective tinnitus, whose origin is muscle spasms and lasts a minute or less. I get these occasionally.

But ringing originates in the inner ear - not, as Write4U said, "throughout the entirety of [his/her] brain" and certainly not from "electro-chemical functions of the neural network"

I did not relate my personal (subjective) experience as a form of tinnitus did I? Perhaps it does not belong in this thread.

Question: can we physically hear all the frequencies which the brain can produce?

So does anyone believe that an involuntary whistling noise occurrs while asleep and this discovery could lead to interpreting the characteristics of that language and creating a computer visual of what a person's subconscious mind knows or in other words a film of their dream? It's the point of my post to see if anyone else can notice this phenomena especially after you wake up?

My hypothesis is based on an observed phenomena that there is an involuntary ear whistling that occurs immediatley after waking up. It has to be noticed right away after waking up sort of like trying to remember a dream and it isn't always observed, however I have noted as a definite real thing several times before. This ear whistling appears in involuntary patterns and is different then tinnitus or other causes of whistling in the ears. My hypothesis is that this involuntary ear whistling occurs during a persons sleep and is active while a person is dreaming. The patterns of the whistling and the whistling itself may have a code to it that is recordable. Recording the whistling in that it originates from inside the cochlea would require placing a microphone in a person's ear as close to the cochlea as possible. I propose the possibility of using an elastic diaphragm microphone as the elastic would be very sensitive to picking up any small vibrations from such a quiet noise. I predict that patterns may be found in the whistling that could be translated via a computer program into something like dream symbology language. Experiments could be done to record the whistling and then wake up people who are good at recording their dreams and ask them to detail what they were dreaming about, then look for similar patterns of the whistling across many people's dreams. If I 'm right about this phenomena, it could provide a tool to read and display a person's dreams on a computer. This would be a powerful tool in psychology as well as a judicial crime solving device.

anyways I just theorize that a lot of unexplained questions about dreams and the alternate ego may be explained through gravity and the human balance system. Many years of dream analysis books left me with the understanding that there was a symbology for someone telepathically communicating with you in the subconscious. I suggest that gravity waves could involuntarily cause communication throught the vestibular balance system. Thinking this however I created a world in my mind that I had dreams and heard a subconscious speach all day. Previous people have recorded reporting similar eperiences with creating relationships telepathically but there never in all history is a record of two people meeting or evidence that a telepathic experience being true. That's why I say the mind can create an entire world of imagination that has involuntary effects. That being said I ask if anyone has ever experimented with Edison's idea of ghost communication. I theorize that the voice heard on recordings is an alien gravity wave search engine that operated through the entire gravity field of the milky way galxy 's black hole through recognized fluctuations in voice from une xpalined detail.
This concept of EVP's is just a similar subject to that of subconscious communications or perhaps communications with an unexplained dimension. Using gravity wave sensitive elastic subastance I hope to prove that in perhaps a long decimal with patterns of the vibrations of an elastic microphone the gravity wave messages of the vestibular can be given jsutice. And justice to all mankind.

Authors don't sell books by saying 'there's nothing in interesting happening here'.

I theorize it is the mating call of cosmic unicorns. Is there less evidence for my theory than for yours?

My theory is it holds as much significance as a random itch.

You mean you guess. A theory is something that is testable.

    Please explain.

No. Gravity waves are far too weak for that.

    That's called imagination.

    Ok.

What is Edison's idea of ghost communication? I have never heard of that.

    Which recordings? What voice?

Have you ruled out that it might be pixies operating through the crispy creme doughnut factory through the production of tiny invisible sugar particles that invade your brain? I think there's as much evidence for that as there is for your idea.

Sounds good. Justice for all mankind. Does that include women too?

Ghost hunting. Yeah ghost hunting is great! I asked the guy who showed me ghost hunting three years ago if he didn't think it was just a T.V. or radio on in the distance that he was making a rorschach test out of with his brain and ears. It's quite an amazing phenomenon that has to be observed to be believed. Basically what Edison noticed is that when he records silence in a room, then plays it back amplified, he could hear a whispering voice in the recordings. So what you do is record yourself asking a question then record around ten seconds of dead silence. Then go back and listen to the silence amplified for your answer. The answer will come in a short quiet word or two, you have to distinguish it from the other noise on the recording. I have gotten clear answers to about a hundred questions so far including what street I was on. I can go back and replay the voice and each time it gives a definite, correct, clear answer that is completely audible.

you can read about it here:

What a fascinating example of auditory pareidolia and apophenia.

Yeah, I know, like a rorschach test, like I said. but when you get to the stage out of interest of actually trying it properly you will be amazed by the unexplained phenomenon. It really leaves an audible word in the recording that is an answer. The thing about calling it pareidolia is you can replay it a hundred times and it will say the same thing. You see Dave lightning was once unexplained so they made a god of it. The Judeo-christian version of god is that anything that exists and can exist has one answer through nature or one god.

It is explained. It is called pareidolia.

    Yep.
Look at the Cydonia face on Mars. Do you expect one of these times you're going to look at it and suddenly see a pony?

Yep. Now we have science, and we* don't attribute things to supernatural causes anymore.

    *Well, most of us anyway.

    skeptic talk
this is arbitrary and has nothing to do with what I'm talking about
more skepticism. I'll just ignore your comment about god. I don't really care that your skeptical I was at first and didn't even care to try it myself for years. still an incredible well documented phenomenon.
