An individual entered a crowded shipping mall in St. Cloud Minn., walked up to people and asked them if they were Muslims, then stabbed them if they said 'no'. He did this to eight people before an off-duty police officer shot and killed him. ISIS is claiming him as one of their soldiers. The stabbing victims have risen to nine, since one victim drove himself to the hospital and wasn't initially counted with the others. It isn't clear if all of them were asked if they were Muslims before they were stabbed, but at least one was. The stabber was also heard shouting about Allah according to witnesses. The attacker was identified as a student at local St. Cloud State University and was of Somali descent. As usual, people who knew him express shock and say that he was a good kid. Unclear if he was experiencing psychiatric difficulties.
