No..the scientific method wasn't formulated until medieval times. Simple trial and error was sufficient. Which doesn't say much for the scientific method.

Trial and error is part and parcel of the scientific method. But we are slightly askew of the message of this thread, are we not? You know, how science has helped reveal some of the mythical beliefs early humans had, and the fact that it has shown belief in any divine creator is not really needed, and that you, me, everyone on Earth, the Earth, Sun and Solar System are adequately explained as actually star stuff. Mind boggling that science has enabled us to achieve such revelations, I'm sure you'll agree.
