I go for.. . He will surprise everyone. The problem has been underestimating him in the past so it will be no surprise if we are presented with a side we have not yet seen. I just hope he fires someone. We are getting it in Australia so I wonder if this is an address to the world. Who else will get it. Alex
He will apologize for his mendaciousness towards the American electorate and announce that he is going to resign to devote more time to his family. Or he will say that he has realized that he actually believed the garbage that he said and now sees it cannot be implemented (again he will not take up office) Or he will say "when I snap my fingers you will.........."
He will also admit that he was actually referring to himself when he used the phrases "fat pigs" , "slobs" and " disgusting animals". http://www.bbc.com/news/election-us-2016-37968490
He will make nice... an his concluson will be::: Wait an see... thangs are gonna be beter for everbody.!!!
(Wild guess du jour) Trump will discuss the transition, and lay out his objectives. He will present as calm, deliberate, gracious, and very presidential. Will his cabinet include independents and/or democrats?
I read a story (might be bullshit) about how miserable the Donald is, because being president is a 24-hour a day job, and he wants to be able to go home. Silly boy, the president doesn't knock off work like ordinary people, the president doesn't get to go on vacation.
He will have to work his ass off now. He didn't own a computer. He will have to learn how to use one. He will have to read alot and make hundreds of decisions everyday. And he will be on call 24/7. He is too stupid to have anticipated all this. He only wanted to win the campaign. But he totally forgot the prize.
The job ain't all that difficult: Most presidents survive it, though they do seem to age quicker. And, Trump is used to sleeping only 4 hours per night. I imagine that the first few weeks will be a bear........... It seems that since Trump has become the president elect: Russia and Syria have publicly announced wanting peace with the U.S. Israel's Prime Minister announced that they want to repair the damaged relationship between them and the U.S. DOW closed yesterday at an all-time high. Canada and Mexico have announced they are willing to renegotiate NAFTA with the U.S. Not bad, considering that he has no real power yet aside from the "bully pulpit".
Someone made a point about how Obama has aged over the past eight years, and referred to the presidency as a gypsy cursed. I personally believe Trump will delegate much of his job to others.
Oh, I am sure he will. But that's not very reassuring. Do you remember the last time we had a president who outsourced his job? It was about 16 years ago and his name was Bush. He too was a Republican.
