A good start against to protect gender

An Italian court has ruled that a 13-year-old boy be removed from his mother's custody due to an alleged "personality disorder" linked to having "almost exclusively female role models".
Venice's Court for Minors said the boy "tries in every way to show that he is different" and described his attitude as "effeminate in a provocative way", according to local paper Mattino Padova.

A social services report said the child from Padua, northern Italy, suffered a "personality disorder" and argued that he has difficulty forming relationships due to dependence on his mother.

It also detailed an incident in which the boy wore eyeshadow and nail varnish to school, which his mother argued was for a Halloween party.

According to the court, the child's current home environment deprives him of his constitutional right to the "full development as a person".

Judges ruled that he spend 12 hours a day, from 7am to 7pm, in a 'youth community', to gain independence from his mother.

However, the lawyer representing the boy's mother, Francesco Miraglia, described the decision as "outrageous" and said he would appeal the verdict in a secondary hearing next week.

Local MP for the Democratic Party Alessandro Zan criticized the decision, writing on Facebook that he had submitted an urgent request to the government to ensure the accountability of those involved in the decision

This whole OP appears to have been plagiarised from an article. The actual article can be found here: http://www.thelocal.it/20170110/teen-removed-from-mothers-custody-for-being-too-effeminate

I wonder could the court make a similar ruling where a child is raised with no reference other than religious role models as such a situation must deprive a child of the right to full development as a person.

I wonder how this matter got before the court, who stirred this up?
Who complained do you have any idea?
The extension of this thinking must mean an end to single parenting.
There is more to this than we have been told.

Timojin, can you please explain why you have plagiarised the whole of your OP, linked a different article in said OP?
Because I found the complete text of your OP in an article.

In other words, Timojin, you have lifted an entire article, even the link provided in the article and you have tried to pass it off as your own, without referencing the article you lifted it from.

The notion of an Italian court objecting to the influence of the Italian mother in the raising of the Italian male is remarkable. As such it is the best evidence I have seen yet that some humans are being taken over by aliens!

What I hate to imagine is the treatment this boy will receive from peers and youth leaders. Especially if he is sensitive, and even more if he is trans or bi, and they're given the mandate to 'fix' his 'disorder', they'll be merciless.
Certainly, it's good for children and youth to be exposed to all kinds of gender roles - but not by force.

In other words, you just copied something without giving credit to the author or indicating it was copied.

Let's put it this way. I assume you went to school. What would happen if you had to write an essay and you just copied it from the Internet?

Slow down. In the bottom I put the site of the article. There in no way I could come up with such details , I am not a reporter.
Beside what is the subject here , the article , or crucifying the poster. I don't get paid for posting.

Well, no, you didn't. That's the problem.
There is no way you could say "The Local 10 January 2017?" I came up with such details in about four seconds - and I'm not a reporter either.
The article. But no one knew it was an article. So it was hard to figure out if we should reply to your post or discuss an article you posted.

Sorry , I rather discuss the content of the article than my English
For those who feel offended by the judge protecting gender .
Here is an article to promote change of gender.

Until you understand and acknowledge that you posted material written by others without crediting them, then I would rather discuss your flouting of forum rules and possible infringement of international law in regard to copyright.

What I want is for you to not plagiarise an entire article and pass it off as your own words.

    But you didn't share.

Plagiarism is essentially theft. You took someone else's work and then tried to pass it off as your own. You failed to provide a link to the article you copied and pasted from, you failed to advise those reading your opening post that these were not your words, but from an article.

While the story is interesting in the sense that it gives some insight into a deeply homophobic community, so much so that they chose to remove a child who is possibly gay from his mother's care, because for some stupid reason, they believe that being homosexual is a personality disorder that was caused by being raised by only his mother, what makes your opening post troublesome is the fact that you essentially copied another person's words and work, breached copyright laws in Europe and elsewhere and attempted to pass it off as your own.

Hunting? I found your plagiarism when I searched for more information and an English article that might provide more insight and information about this particular case.

Whether I like the content of your post or not is beside the point. Whether you offended anyone with the subject matter is beside the point.

The point, timojin is that you not only broke the law, you also infringed on this site's rules. As I noted in the infraction I issued you, plagiarism is against this site's rules. I even linked and quoted the part of this site's rules which explains this.

Actually no, you did not link the article in the bottom of your opening post.

I was the one who edited your post and linked the article and advised that you had plagiarised.

I was leaving this thread open in the hope that you would explain your actions and possibly explain that you had made a mistake and you had no intention to plagiarise. Instead, what I see is your attempting to deny that you plagiarised, your attempts to diminish the actual issue and then openly lying that you put a link at the bottom of the article you plagiarised.

As interesting as this thread topic happens to be, and believe me, it is interesting and worthy of discussion, what is not interesting or allowed is the fact that you plagiarised and now you are trying to lie about it.

    No, really?

No one knew it was an article. Everyone believed it was your own words, that this was a story you had read about and then posted about it, and included a link to an Italian news site. What no one knew was that you had copied the whole of your opening post of this thread from another Italian news site, even to the point of including the link they provided which gave further insight into the story and issue, and pasted it here and passed it off as your own. Do you understand now why this is bad? Do you understand that you not only broke the law, but also breached copyright laws and opened yourself and this site to legal action from the author of this article?

I will be closing this thread. Not because of the subject matter, but because of the fact that you plagiarised an entire article and passed it off as your own and then openly lied about providing a link when you did not provide any link to the article you copied and pasted your OP from.

To everyone who wishes to discuss this issue of blatant discrimination in the Italian Courts, I do apologise. I had hoped that timojin would have provided an explanation for his OP. Sadly, that was not to be. If anyone wishes to discuss the issue of this young boy being removed from his mother's for the insane reason the Italian courts cited, then you are welcome to start another thread on the subject. Just please do not plagiarise.
