If you suddenly discovered that you could gain an iq in the four digits what would you then do?

IQ scores can't go above 200. It's like asking what you would do if you could get more than 100% efficiency out of your engine.

    Does dynamic braking count?

100% relative to the position it is evolving from!i

Actually Billvon Iq is a measure of statistical comparisons not absolute quantities! But I do think absolute quantities exist but that is still relative to the position in operation!

If my IQ was in the 4-digits, I bet could get more than 100% from my engine!! (HAHA!)

Well, no. 100% relative to 1. (Which is what 100% means.)

You can't have more than 200 IQ points, just as you can't have more than 100% efficiency. By definition.

Sorry this made me laugh, because I carelessly read it first time round as "dynamic barking".

    Freudian slip or what?

My Lab does dynamic barking when she wants me to throw the stick.

Which "one", just like two engines can have different outputs depending on specs, there is no two identical brains nor physical or metaphysical.

So this is why Iq is a statical measure of relative intelligence. Without other minds to measure it against, current Iq methods are useless.

So this is why your 1 "100%" is trivial and does not define Iq it's nonsensical
    you're 100% could mean 20% for someonelse.

My argument is like saying from your terms of engines, you are currently driving a Mercedes Benz at 248 horse power that got you home in 40 minutes but then suddenly you are driving a Bugati Chiron 1500 horse power that gets you home in in approximately 6.6 minutes.

Exactly! One brain might have a different IQ than another - but none will be over 200, by definition. Likewise, one engine might be more efficient than another - but none will be over 100%. By definition.
Well, other minds are used create the curve. But once that curve is created a single mind can be measured against that curve with no problem.
OK. Does either of those engines operate at 100% efficiency? If you make a ten billion horsepower engine, will it be so big that it will be more than 100% efficient?

(BTW I assume you know that increasing horsepower by six does not increase your speed by a factor of six, but that's a side note.)

In every group of people, there are those who fall on the left side of the curve.

Iq is not a measure of efficiency of the brain it could only be so if every brain was identical.

I could score the same as someone on my iq test but be operating at less efficiency than they operated at!i
