So, someone within our intelligence community leaked classified information about a Flynn conversation, information which looks like a blatant effort to undermine the new presidency. Why? Is there reason for maintaining poor relations with Russia? Do we want another costly cold war? More importantly, do we want the intelligence agencies instigating a coup? I'm genuinely concerned about what has happened in the past couple days, and i think we are looking at dark times should the administration not get control over covert operators.
Donald Trump is completely unqualified to be president. Tis administration is a mess and will remain so until someone gets control.
If you are Trump or one of his minions, you should be worried. But if you are anyone else, there is no cause for concern. In fact you should be thankful. It's a good thing
Some disloyal bastard who thinks he/she can violate every oath and do whatever he/she damn well pleases has gone beyond the pale and deserves whatever befalls him/her. Whoever this is needs to be caught, tried, convicted and sent to prison.
So you think exposing a security threat is disloyal? Well, that says it all; doesn't it?Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Really? Having the presidency undermined by our intelligence agencies is a good thing. It doesn't matter which side you're sitting--Democrat or Republican--this isn't good.
What security threat. He broke no laws according to the FBI. Trump needs to clean house in the intelligence community.
Perhaps if the President hadn't attempted to alienate and undermine them in the first place and actually sort to work with them things would have been different. Could see this a comin' a mile away...
Is that the same FBI that released info about a new investigation into Hilary and then retracted just before the election. That FBI? Oh I see....
What's good for the goose is good for the gander..I hope the intelligence community nails this lying bastard to the wall.
it hasn't been proved yet , but immediately after the inauguration at least 1 Russian was arrested for collaboration ( treason ) and another was found dead. ( All associated with the Russian hacking) Someone told the Russians who these collaborators were...
The FBI frequently monitors those kind of calls, they alerted the AG (that Trump fired) about a possible blackmail concern with Flynn. At that point there are many people who know about that situation. The government bureaucracy has never been that tight lipped is the past. Why the sudden concern now? It's odd to be more concerned about the leak than about the act.
It's funny. These guys have no problem with a hostile foreign power hacking American computers and leaking confidential material. Trump encouraged it when it benefited him. Trump praised Wiki Leaks. Now that the shoe is on the other foot it's a terrible thing.
Will he do that to the US's allies as well who have a vested interest in what the Kremlin is doing? It's a good thing President Trump/Bannon will have zero influence in the matter. U.S. ALLIES CONDUCT INTELLIGENCE OPERATION AGAINST TRUMP STAFF AND ASSOCIATES, INTERCEPTED COMMUNICATIONS These operations reflect a serious breakdown in the long-standing faith in the direction of American policy by some of the country’s most important allies. Worse, the United States is now in a situation that may be unprecedented—where European governments know more about what is going on in the executive branch than any elected American official.
How does outing a compromised high level intelligence officer equate to undermining the presidency? Please do be specific.
