I think it's more the brainchild of "RepublicanCare." Not many conservatives are happy with it, either.
A Trump direct quote: "This will be a plan where you can choose your plan. And you know what the plan is. This is the plan." Now, WTF does that mean? Conniver/shyster talk?
Well shucks n'all. Actually the last line is from an unattributed source, as were some diagrams recently posted, but thank goodness I'm still here.
I WANT TRUMPCARE!!! They can blame no one but themselves for the the destruction to healthcare it will do. The better they fuck up healthcare the better the odds are that we will get universal healthcare when the pendulum swings back.
Even if the pendulum does swing back to the left, can we really have true universal healthcare without getting rid of the middlemen, the health insurance companies, and going to single payer? And what about the TREMENDOUS amount of tax money going to our military-industrial complex? Other nations with successful universal healthcare don't have anywhere near the percentage of tax income spent on the military.
Yes, but neither the Dems nor the Repubs are willing to cut back, even on the percentage of increase each year. Until there is a real cutback, there will never be enough money to pay for universal health care.
That's not true. It's not either or. Obamacare is near universal healthcare. And if we adopted a single payer system costs would fall dramatically.
Here's proof that the GOP health care plan will screw less fortunate Americans. If Anthem likes it, you know it's going to be bad for us. http://money.cnn.com/2017/03/10/news/economy/anthem-republican-bill-obamacare/index.html
Trumpcare will definitely screw the less fortunate in order to benefit the wealthy. It begins with a 400 billion dollar tax benefit for executive salaries. http://www.cnbc.com/2017/03/08/400-million-dollar-tax-break-for-insurance-execs-sparks-outrage.html
And here's the kicker: Most dumbfucks don't seem to know the difference between insurance and health care. With so many goddamned idiots, what do we expect? Where the fuck do these tyrants get off, demanding that people buy something that they do not want at prices that they cannot afford?
I like when the Repubs say that (paraphrased) "we're going to make health insurance accessible to all". They don't use the word "affordable" -- that way they aren't lying, are they? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! But, as Paul Ryan said: "it will be a mercy." Now, that's funny.
Here here.!!! I want to be insured an only pay coverage for what i need... an sinse im a man i dont want to pay coverage for any female needs... an i dont need mental care coverage... an i dont want to be forced to buy coverage when i dont need it... an when i do get sick an by coverage i want the premium to be cheep.!!!
I disagree, we could easily just raise taxes to pay for universal healthcare and our bloated military.
Easily? Sure. Raise taxes. With a Democratic congress it's unlikely, with a Republican congress it's out of the question. Besides, with all the waste there (especially in the military expenditures) , I don't want my taxes raised.
We had the chance for single payer, get rid of the middleman insurance corporation, just pay for the medical care. We blew it. Now it's a matter of making the best of a bad situation - if you didn't want this kind of tyranny, you shouldn't have voted for it. The liberals were right, as usual - but it's pretty late in the game now, to be destroying the insurance industry in the interest of the common welfare.
Americans are - right now - paying more in taxpayer money for health care than most European citizens are paying for health care. More than the French. More than the Danes. More than just about anyone except possibly the Norwegians and Swiss. That's per capita, tax dollars alone. So we are already paying enough in taxes for universal basic health care - some kind of Medicare for all program, for example. No "cutbacks" are necessary, and no net tax increase is inevitable.
