Am I the only one who thinks the people laughing at the chicken sound like chickens?

Your picture can't be right? We all know Australia is at the bottom of the world not the top.

    Well spotted

Truth is the chicken was standing on its head

I flipped it because I thought no one would believe a chicken could stand on its head

Chickens are definitely not smart. We had dozens of them growing up. But they're remarkably affectionate. When my husband and I get a house here in a bit, one of my first goals is to build a coop and keep some ground fowl (closer to the Indian ancestors than not). There are breeds that are a bit brighter. As with a lot of domesticated animals, we selected for the ones that were obedient and dumb (fecund and tasty) not smart and crafty. One of the necessary sacrifices in cattle, sheep and chickens was in their general smarts. We dispensed with those because we did the protecting and wanted them where we could find them and liberate them of their heads.
