So we return to the statement: Homo sapiens evolved in the same way we see evolution happening in every other species.

Yes and no. I don't fully grok human evolution. We're close but not the same.

    What's the diff?
Are we different from other primates?

On the sub atomic level we're not really different from a block of wood.

Is that 2% enough for you to doubt that we evolved the same way?

Going to run a few experiments on my friends over the next couple of weeks
Involving their favourite foods and the foods they dislike. I'm also going to use colours related to emotions to see if their decisions were emotional or rational. Will post the results.

I don't doubt evolution of man, we've changed enough in the last 100 years. I don't know the chain of our evolution, no one does. Chimps nurture their young the same way humans do. That's incredible.

    Why don't we know?

We know that we evolved from a primate that preceded both human and ape, and that both speciated from that proto-primate. What is missing?

Apparently you saw something that you could not identify? It happens.
That is not a theory, it is sort of a conjecture that you seem to hope comes true.
Uh, huh? I wonder which God we will become, I personally hope it is Zeus, I would like to throw lightening bolts.
Why do you want me to do that?

Apparently Nabor87 is the only one of us who has any understanding of quantum physics.
Also apparently, 44 minute TV shows are the way to do it.

Because we don't have access to infinite information. One of the great things about our intellect is that we can fill in the reasonable gaps. We have access to the geologic record where evolution of species is demonstrated. We have access to genetic information that is more and more fleshed out to show precisely how systems evolved. If we've already established that H.sapiens evolved, then we can construe some of that process. But not all of it.

Remember, there are not hard and fast rules in science. Sciences gives you a rough approximation with shrinking margins of doubt but you never remove all of it. The whole point of the scientific method is that nothing is ever "proven". Proof only exists in mathematics, algebra, logic and not science. You only ever get evidence and nothing more, with (again) shrinking margins of doubt.

Quadrillions of seconds of non-stop flows of information. All of matter-energy is information and we cannot know it all. So literally millions of millions of bits of data. But we fundamentally understand the process of speciation, have our genetic record and the fossil record and can roughly approximate how our species evolved and then the first mammals before that.

There is at least doubt that our universe is infinite & I doubt the above remarks in bold even if the universe is infinite.

Even in an infinite universe, it is not valid to believe notions such as the above bolded remarks. The set of all integers is infinite & there are no duplicates. The set of all real numbers has even more members & no duplicates.

Even so called identical twins are not really identical as adults & I am sure they were not identical throughout the entire 9 months of their mother’s pregnancy.

An adult human being seems to be a unique entity.

Cantor wrote an essay about infinite sets based on a precise definition of an infinite set & various logical notions.

An individuals unsupported beliefs relating to infinity are not likely to be valid.

Nirvana fallacy - assuming that, because a solution is not perfect, it must be invalid.

Just because we don't know literally everything does not mean we don't know anything.

Our models will improve with tweaks over time, but they will not be thrown out.

There is no evidence that humans have had their own special evolutionary mechanisms. There is no reason to think they do. If you have reason to think they do, you'd better present it, otherwise Occam's Razor applies.

Uh, yes there are - quite a few, in fact - but that is neither her nor there.

Nor do we need to remove all of it to understand primate evolution. See tweaks, above.

And no one except you is invoking proof. So why raise it?

    See Nirvana fallacy, above.

It is a bit silly to suggest that we cannot understand human evolution without the "millions and millions of bits of data" you mention or that we have to fully understand all information in matter and energy.

I've got no idea how quantum mechanics work, I'm not a mathematician nor geologist. I'm interested in human connection and when science will be able to put the dots on paper.
origin I meant for you to watch a quantum physics doco because usually they'll have studies on human connection showing a missing link.

We don't know enough because people are still killing each other over some made up thing in the sky. Children are still being brainwashed. People are being manipulated with media etc.

I believe science will fix all the problems with the world and I don't think it will be too far away. It will happen when the pseudo science is stumbled upon and we discover something incredible. A new particle that will lead to a hoard of new inventions.

Science will show the world that we're all god in the way that every time we have a thought idea, this unknown particle will sprinkle from our bodies to the universe looking for form. This particle will click or vibrate in all our bodies. When two people love each other, their clicking will be harmoniously in tune together, even when they're on opposite sides of the planet.
When the particle is understood, it will be like liquid creation.

I don't believe I would purposely watch a video on QM that discussed such a missing link.

I agree that there's a lot of bad stuff going on.

    That would be nice.

    I wouldn't think so.

    Science has left the building!!

If I took the same test twice, I might do 38% better the next time I took the same test.

I do not think that is what you meant.

If you meant folks did better on a test which had previously taken by others, I say that is weird woo unless the first person gave some information about the test to the next to be tested.

More woo from Nahor87 Post 11
    If unproven, why mention it?

    Additional woo
