I always thought the episode of twilight zone, "to serve man," was really sad. They were so happy, trusting and had no clue what was waiting for them and they just were going to be used like cattle for food. Especially at the end, when that guy gets so hungry, he is like 'fuk it!' and just gives in and accepts it because he is so hungry. It made me bawl and cry out loud, 'why? oh why must we suffer?!!!' with my proverbial fist in the air. I felt so sorry for him. What would his mother think?
At the end of Saving Private Ryan, when the old Ryan asks to his wife to please tell him (something to the effect) that "he was a good man and lived a good life". Gives me goose bumps just writing it.
The breakfast scene in "Unbreakable". That little boy wanted nothing but a dad who was a superhero and he'd finally given up hope. Then, at breakfast, Bruce Willis' character slides the newspaper in front of his son. The son reads the story about a masked superhero saved a family from a murderer. Then the boy gets this look on his face that's a perfect combination of horror, excitement and bliss. He's choking back tears, and Willis' has to shush him to keep his secret identity revealed. Gets me every time.

the horror movie, charlotte's web. I thought that movie was dark when I first saw it as a child. the desperation of trying to stay alive, insensitivity and trying to find a true ally or cooperation was stressful to watch. lol
I cry to almost any movie (Alien Covenant...) but nothing like what I've heard for people doing for Old Yeller.
Sword Art Online 2, ep. 22, "Journey's End" Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Spoiler: Click to skip to the end (ep. 24, "Mother's Rosario"). The manga Sword Art Online: Mother's Rosario began its run in July, 2014; its anime version ran in December of that year, with the English-language version released in September, 2015. The first SAO light novel was published in 2002. The story is set in 2022. Mother's Rosario is arranged as the final bloc of episodes in the Sword Art Online 2 anime. The show itself is reasonably entertaining, but it is not great. I intend to eventually buy the set, but it's hardly a priority. SAO is an immersion VRMMORPG setting interspersed with real-world glimpses into the lives of our heroes. The first series, which I still haven't watched, involved players getting stuck inside a video game at stake of their lives. SAO2 happened to be running when I noticed it. The thing is that it has a couple episodes that are just over the top. I would consider a trigger warning on episode thirteen; they did well enough to be properly terrifying, so, yeah. Mother's Rosario opens with a burn episode, eighteen, verging on harem romance, but it establishes the arc transition while foreshadowing specifically roundabout. Twenty-two, "Journey's End", begins a three-episode run to the end that simply crushed me. There is, of course, a grand scene at the end (click above if you want it) to break our hearts and give us hope all over again, but in the manner of melodramatic moralizing about something in Japanese society, they threw down, gave us a test case, and made their point. I look forward to the technology when, soon enough, it is real. Probably not 2022, but soon. And the show may not be great through the course of its twenty-five and a half series-two episodes, but they had their moments, and Mother's Rosario, the story arc, justifies the entire project. It's just, holy shit, they did that. And, yeah, it turns out I kind of needed that. I kind of needed to be knocked over. And no, it's not the sort of thing requiring a trigger warning.
