    The ears are the main factor in balance & 1 of the 2 main factors in oriention & direction. Normal hearing seems to not interfere but closing up 1 or both ears does interfere. How much varies from person to person. Some can seem very drunk.
    Yes, it is very annoying.

    I am reminded of people spinning around for a minute then "trying" to walk straight. I wonder if anyone has tried that with headphones on.

    Hmmm. Maybe I should not have mentioned it. Would not want anyone to be hurt.
