I used to define becoming as the property of matter to experience changes. We can use the words movement and changes as synonyms. . PS: I ask the moderators to correct the title of this thread: synonyms.

Time is an equivocal term because it can refer to: clocks, occasion, a period and multiplication. Becoming is an analogous term because relates the concepts to happen and to convert. Duration is univocal and is defined as the permanence of things in reality.
Moved to PseudoScience since it is obvious that this is not a linguistics and/or science question, but merely an ill-guided attempt to redefine words for no apparent gain.
Actually some imagine it as exactly that! Some see merit in supposed "thinking outside the box" when they know nothing about the "thinking inside the box", as their badge of honour, and sees the poor delusional souls who would rather follow the scientific methodology through observation/s, as sheepish followers of mainstream science. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! The laughable facts are though, that (1) all incumbent science theories were at one time outside the box, (2) the mainstream obviously is that generally supported by the vast majority and based on empirical evidence, and (3) Like playing the victim card and claim all those big bad mainstream supporters are bullies and picking on them on them, and of course that usual age old (4) Ahh, its only a theory, when trying to replace or vilify some incumbent model.
It just occurred to Huey Dewey and Louie and they passed the idea onto me Why are we not pushing back with all of these "out of the box" kookie ideas as being just a theory? We could put religion outside the box and start calling god "just a theory" Will have to be on the lookout for a opportune moment to use that as a comeback Credit goes to Huey Dewey and Louie Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!

According to the post #1185 of the thread "Does time exist?" becoming, time and duration aren't synonyms. Synonyms of duration are: period, age and permanence.
That's nice. It still though does not make you anymore correct in the nonsensical claims you present. Thinking will change when evidence supports an alternative proposition over any incumbent theory.
time could be called the 1st dimension, very durable in duration, indestructible like energy perhaps. exchangeable words with "space"? the 2nd dimension, lengths; the 3rd dimension heights, , the 4st dimension depths.
