i would like to present the examples of exhibit a and b as a testament to how logical nature is. it's so logical that even if one is not getting proper nutrition and it's harming one's health, the brain does not kick in to say, 'you know what, this may be crazy or unwise'.

and of course, everyone knows cornstarch has a lot of nutritional value. evolution and nature is flawless. go figure.

    How disgusting!

But surely this is just nature's way of eliminating from the gene pool people who are too stupid and greedy to stop eating when they've had enough?

The average human brain has about 100 billion neurons(or nerve cells) and many more neuroglia (or glial cells) which serve to support and protect the neurons (although see the end of this page for more information on glial cells). Each neuron may be connected to up to 10,000 other neurons, passing signals to each other via as many as 1,000 trillion synaptic connections, equivalent by some estimates to a computer with a 1 trillion bit per second processor. Estimates of the human brain’s memory capacity vary wildly from 1 to 1,000 terabytes (for comparison, the 19 million volumes in the US Library of Congress represents about 10 terabytes of data)

    http://www.human-memory.net/brain_neurons.html

With that amount of action there are bound to be a few hiccups

wow, this is not even technically or logically true. it's one of those presupposed assumptions of science again. they have thier own pet theories parading around like facts.

no. you clearly missed the point because it is very clear that nature is faulty for not producing or signaling the right reactions to prevent it. that is inherently nature's fault as well as the fallibility and imperfection of evolution as well, squarely. these people are merely the outcome of it.

I was joking about the disgustingly fat, out-of-control slobs in your videos.

But seriously, nobody claims nature is not "faulty". Thousands of birth defects attest to that. The whole principle of natural selection implies a spectrum of "fitness" for the prevailing environment. Nobody says all organisms are perfectly adapted to survival. If they were, there would be no evolution!

But these people have not evolved to be repulsively fat. The explanation is to be found in social factors, the all-you-can-eat culture of the USA, mass-marketing of bad food and lack of willpower.

You're making the mistake of assuming that nature and evolution have a goal. From an evolutionary standpoint, there's nothing inherently "wrong" with being obese.

you are purposely ignoring it's harming them (that's the point) so your idiotic pet theory of a perfect universe designed with perfect and assumed genius laws (lmfao) remains on a pedestal. it's no different than religionists with their perfect god, therefore perfect universe etc.

you would have to be intellectually dishonest or insane to not notice the gross (not even slight) imperfections in society as well as even in nature.

this proves there are even atheists and scientists who are into self-delusion or denial as well, just like it's possible with anyone else depending on what their 'shtick' is. and just like anyone determined to move pieces around to fit a narrative, scientists are fallible to do the same and falsely rationalize or excuse away til the cows come home.

Millions of people do millions of acts which kill millions of themselves. ALL of those millions of occurrences do not operate under the laws of the Universe

The concept of perfectness, as far as I understand, does not exist in science realm. However religion does bang on about it a fair bit

Unbreakable laws of physics exist in the realm of physics but they are just that unbreakable with no connotation of being perfect

Religion however does bang on about incidents which do violate unbreakable laws of physics

Yes agree. Again the imperfections in society do not operate under fixed laws of the Universe

Imperfections in nature from a four leaf clover to grossly defective animals do occur without violating unbreakable laws. Evolution will produce whatever it is capable of producing BUT always within the limits of those laws

Has anybody denied stupid scientists or atheist exist?

Or scientists who have outlandish stupid and even downright unscientific ideas?

If anyone does so they are wrong

As sideshowbob noted nature does not have a goal, no purpose, nature is NOT a entity and evolution is a process without a grand plan ending

I leave you to fill in the blanks about which organisation bangs on about their leader who has a grand plan which we are not allowed to know what it is

You're making the mistake of assuming that nature and evolution have a goal. There is no goal, therefore there is no "harm". If there are no goals on the soccer field, you can't score against yourself.

Unhealthy food addicition is real .

Sugars , carbohydrates . Can be an addiction .

Of course food addictions , therefore the foods you consume is based on knowledge , income and availability .

Many people just don't have the income to explore healthier foods .

But of course those that have the income to eat healthier foods , don't eat healthier either .

I totally believe about it! Those that can afford can eat a lot. They could become unhealthy because they only buy anything they like without considering its nutritional benefits.

I am addicted to food served in Cuban Resorts.
If I don't get it at last twice a year, I get sullen and cranky.
